- The character "Dr. Francis Gross" will once again return, but no word if original actor Michael Carr will return.
- The original film spawned numerous sequels and a variety of copycats over the years.
- A remake of the 1978 exploitation documentary that featured real and fake deaths of humans and animals.

I didn't care much for the original one but maybe a remake for this movie will be good. So hopefully they do a decent take on this.

With internet sites like liveleak.com and UncoverReality.com ready available I don't see how a movie like this can have any fresh content. Especially since the majority of footage on the orignals were fake.

i just can't believe this. i've seen the original & several remakes/copycats/volumes whatever. some that shit is....damn, are they going to show to the GP? i don't think they could handle it. like when the exorist came out. midnight movies anyone???
