The First Vampire


The film will supposedly tell the tale of the very first vampire, before all the mythology behind them were created. Taking place in the 13th century, we'll follow a Viking warrior who returns home to Sweden to discover that his people are drained of blood and in the brink of death. He too falls victim and his child gets carried off by a "creature of the night".

- Filming will supposedly begin late 2006.
- It's said that there will be a lot of twists with the vampire legend in this film, and that the audience will look upon vampirism as a real condition.
- The film was originally scheduled to beging shooting in the first quarter of 2005.
- Co-writer and director Jason Todd Ipson has a background in medicine and based his script on actual reports of vampirism throughout European history.
- Relativity Management and Asgaard Entertainment are financing the film.
- Based on the short film by director Jason Todd Ipson.
