Hood of Horror

A hip hop horror anthology of three tales of terror told by the Hound of Hell (Snoop Dogg) that revolve around the residents of an inner-city neighborhood whose actions determine where they will go in the afterlife. The first story tells the tale of a female graffiti artist who's art takes more than one life of it's own. The second story is of a sex crazed pervert and his horny stripper slut wife from Texas who try and steal the inheritance of some veteran soldiers and end up behind enemy lines. The Final Story is a hip hop mainstay, a story of betrayal, money, and murder.

I couldn't find any other horror movie but this before Saw III came on later, so I thought "Hey, I've read frightie's review on this, why not pass the time?" I know it's not at all such a great movie, the stories were particularally week, thought I loved the gore and some of the effects in it. Some parts I thought were a bit too disgusting, in the second story of the girl's death scene, it was more gross than disgusting. I actually thought the second and third stories had more potential and seem a pinch interesting to me and were sort of very well directed, first one was just too simple and looked as if it didn't last for very long when it should've done more to make it interesting.
Snoop Dog's not a great director, but he is good in some way, and I loved the animation he used in it that makes me think of anime and Creepshow a lot, which is what I figured he wanted to do but yeah. Not a very good film, but it's good if you want to kill some time before a good horror film is on later after.
