Hostel: Part II

The film follows three young Americans studying art in Rome that go on a weekend trip when they run into a beautiful model from one of their classes, whom invite her fellow classmates to an "exotic destination" where they can relax and rejuvenate. Will the girls find the oasis they are looking for? Or are they poised to become victims for hire, pawns in the fantasies of the sick and privileged from around the world that secretly travel here to savor more grisly pursuits?

The updates keep coming -- you can now head to the trailers area to find a couple new clips.

5/14/07
I've added the final poster above, and if you head over the gallery you'll see an extensive collection of pics.

5/08/07
I've added a bunch of new pics to the gallery.

5/04/07
A couple new stills are in the gallery.

4/20/07
The new poster can be seen above.

3/21/07
An extended clip has been added to the trailers area.

3/15/07
I've added a new international clip for the film at the trailers section. I've also added a handful of new pics to the gallery. Thanks to Blairwitch.de.

3/11/07
Take a look at the new poster above, which is a combination of the two previous posters. Also, a sweet new site for the film can be found via the link on your left. Thanks to IGN.

2/26/07
You can take a look at the new poster above that you won't see at your local theater. Thanks to DC.

12/16/06
The strange new poster is above.

12/12/06
The release date has been pushed once again from March to June '07.

11/29/06
The official site is up and running, although there's not much there at the moment. The film is expected to get a theatrical release next April.

11/09/06
The first pics can be seen below.

11/02/06
The new teaser can be found in the trailers area, and it looks like the original January release may actually be pushed back to sometime in the Spring.

10/05/06
I now have a more detailed plot above, and despite previous rumors of a date change, the January '07 release is still on.

9/08/06
I've added a few names to the cast, as well as a title change, thanks to Fango. Also, it looks like the reported January '07 release date won't be happening considering it won't begin filming until another week-or-so in the Czech Republic.

8/24/06
I've added the names to the three girls that'll star in the film. Lauren German will play a rich girl who's in the middle of trying to decide her next step in life, while Bijou Phillips is her best friend and Heather Matarazzo is a tag-along.

7/09/06
Writer/director Eli Roth spoke with Production Weekly recently revealing that production will begin in September in Prague, Cesky Krumlov, Karlovy Vary and other locations around the Czech Republic. Other scenes will also be shot at Barrandov Studios, and other places, like Rome and Slovakia. He also added the following: "The first 'Hostel' is a journey into hell that starts off fun. Part 2 is going to start off scary and stay creepy all the way through. I want it to feel like the movie is going to pick up on the next cut, as if you could watch the two movies back-to-back and it would be a three-hour movie. There will be some new things thrown in there but it has to look and feel like that movie."

6/10/06
Eli Roth spoke to MTV recently about what we can expect from the film, where he revealed a little more on the plot (seen above), and how we'll learn more about how things work behind the tortorous buildings, saying: "It's all part of the organization; they've got the whole thing set up all over the place, and they have different scouts. We're going to learn a lot more about how it all works. In 'Hostel 2,' you're really going to see the ins and outs of the whole organization and how they get people and kill them."

He shot him because the guy who paid to torture Beth paid alot of cash for it and them beating her up with sticks would damage her and the guy who's gonna torture her would be pissed if she was bruised/cut because he wouldn't get to cause all damage to her.
It's some messed up stuff, Eli Roth is great at that.
