When their car leaves them stranded on the side of a rural road, Jack and Stephanie Singleton seek refuge in an old Bed and Breakfast where they find another couple in the same situation. Soon, the four discover that the creepy owners of this old house, know more about them than they should. Slowly, their darkest secrets and deepest fears begin to unfold around them. They try to escape, but a madman waits for them outside forcing them back into the house, and into his game. They have until dawn to give him one dead body...

When the owners of the house turn on their guests, the four try to run. As they each go deeper and deeper into the house, their secrets begin to unravel as they are forced to face their darkest fears. Will the haunting of their pasts turn them into the murders this madman wants, or can they overcome their own evil and find a way out?

LATEST NEWS

4.12.08
Official word has been released that Lionsgate will distribute the film with an estimated Fall '08 debut. Also, the supposed PG-13 rating was proven false, as the MPAA as officially slapped it with an R-rating, which is likely the reason why FoxFaith had trouble distributing it and duties went to Lionsgate.

6.17.07
Added to the database.

DETAILS

- This is a Christian horror film going straight to DVD.
- FoxFaith was originally going to distribute the film, but refused to after it was slapped with an R-rating, so it was picked up by Lionsgate.
- Originally thought to have an October '07, then a Spring '08 release.
- Based on best-selling Christian novel by Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker.
- This is not related to the 1986 Steve Miner comedy-horror flick.

This movie looks suprisingly good, but I bet the ending will be something spiritual or moral, I've never heard of a christian horror movie

The only thing that makes this a Christian horror is the very end-im christian, and i understood what was going on.. but its one of those things where you have to think about it. honestly.. its a LOT like how people are trying to put christian values into I AM LEGEND. unless you want there to be, there doesnt have to be.... trust me.. its definetly scary... gore was described during the book... just because its christian doesnt mean there wont be violent brutal deaths =P i loved the book. it was pretty creepy. i think its gonna be a great movie..especially with an R rating and LionsGate behind it.

Read the book a while ago and didn't think it was all that great. You wouldn't know that it is classified as a Christian fiction until the very end, and I very highly doubt that I would sit and watch a film version of it. In my opinion, didn't think the book was good enough to even get a movie version.

I read the book and thought it was great. As for it being a christain horror story, i didn't mind that. I very seldom go to church, but as for the comments about their not being a God, To who said it, i could care less to what you think. The only reson you think that is because you've obviously grew up in a society that makes it ok not to belive in God. As for aliens, God made the heavens and the earth, so the aliens would be in his image, so you might just be the alien you speak of.
