Actor Sid Haig spoke with Fango about his role in the film, where he said the following: "I play a professor who makes a very botched attempt at re-animating people and basically winds up in the soup,” laughs the easygoing genre icon. “I am a bad guy in the movie, who just goes out to find dead bodies—and if there are any lying around, he just helps himself." He also went on to say how it is a very different film than the crappy first film by lame director Uwe Boll.

BD learned from Lion's Gate that Mike Hurst is set as director.

Apparently Lion's Gate wants to start on the fim without Uwe Boll, so they are searching for a director right now in hopes to begin shooting next month.

- Original director Uwe Boll will not be directing this film as it will conflict with various other game-to-film adaptions he's working on.
- Supposedly the main characters G and Rogan will be the main characters in this flick.
- It's been said that the film will take a more horror approach, but keep true to the game with action.
- Slated to begin production in November according to an interview at Icons of Fright.
- Produced by the same company that did the first, Mindfire Entertainment.
- The obvious sequel to the box-office zombie stinker House of the Dead.
