SciFi Wire recently about the film, saying how is not a direct remake...
"We're kind of taking the title and changing
it a little bit. It's similar to the original. It's similar, but we're
still going through rewrites."
She then went on to talk a little about
her role... "I am going to be playing a twin,
a twin to a male. It's all about doing different things. I wanted to
do something different from The Girl Next Door, obviously."
Lastly she added.. "Joel
had some really cool ideas for the movie and I got excited about it.
It's also an opportunity to shoot a movie in Australia. That should
be lots of fun. I've never been there and I'm excited to go. And I think
I can bring a lot to this movie. I'm excited to dive in and see what
comes of it."
