"Best director ever" Uwe Boll spoke with Fango about his many upcoming video game-to-movie adaptions and briefly mentioned how there is a "great" script for this film, but he doesn't plan on working on the project for a while since it's too similar to the horrible Alone in the Dark.

According to a brief interview Donald Sutherland is signed on to play one of the hunters in the film. He was also quoted saying:"We have a set up where our hero Riggs, is supposed to be the new Hunter leader, althoug he has no idea how the system works! He thinks that all of the Hunters are idiots. He gets chased by ghouls, Poltergeist, Skinriders and Carpenters, each time he grows in strength and leadership step by step. " You can read more here.

- Filming will shoot in British Columbia.
- This is one of many of Uwe Boll's game-to-movie adaptions, which include Alone in the Dark and BloodRayne among others.
- David Schneider and Drew Daywalt are set to pen the script.
- Based on the video game with the same title.

i would love htr to be made too. i mean i played all of them and beat all of them. Im going to filmschool and i was seriously thinking and hoping this movie wouldnt be made so i could do it, but if it does ill be behind the director all the way.

Well, all I can say is, I PRAY TO GOD THIS MOVIE BECOMES REAL because I'm a BIG HTR fan! And I'll cheer the directors on, to make this movie! woot!
