The plot seems to revolve around one similar to The Halloween Party, a book in R.L. Stine's Fear Street series. Actually, it's EXACTLY like it!! This film also seems to take from Stephen King's It as well!! Drawing the element that one of them has died/been murdered and it was all planned by PennyWise so he could finish the job he started when they all were kids!!!
I do agree with what mikesociety1 says, as long as the writer can put fresh twists and elements into the concept it should make for a miraculously GOOD movie!!!

But even not having an original idea is fine; as long as a writer can put fresh twists and elements into that certain genre or concept.

This sounds cool...I think I read a book like it once.
But I'm not so sure what the killers motivation will be...it doesn't seem like the kids that are gonna get killed did anything wrong but Hollywood might stil pull the idea out of their asses. I just hope the original concept will make an original movie...cause that's not always guaranteed with horror movies anymore.
