Inside (À l'intérieur)

Sarah, a young photographer, is by herself on Christmas eve. She's been alone since her husband died tragically in a car accident. Today is the last day she has to spend at home before going to hospital to induce labour. The calm is interrupted by a knock on the door. Confronted by a mysterious woman, Sarah is immediately suspicious, and refuses to let her in; however, the woman will not leave.

Sarah suddenly feels afraid and calls the police. In the gloom outside, the woman watches her through the picture windows. Yet, when the police show up, the woman is gone. With riots raging in the neighbouring suburb, the distracted policemen comfort Sarah and leave. Sarah locks herself away in her house, unaware that the woman is now inside. As she feels her first contractions, she does all she can to fight back this madwoman hellbent on taking her unborn child.

I just watched this movie the other day. Wow. I was very surprised. I had forgotten it was a French movie when I rented it, but that in no way took away from the movie since there really isn't too much dialogue. My wife is pregnant with our second child, and watching this movie made me squirm. I like to think of my self as a horror buff, and have a high tolerance for gore and horror, but this movie really surprised me. Excellent story line, and amazing filming and acting. I had to watch the Behind the Scenes to find out what the hell these people were thinking making this movie. After that it made a little more sence. But very intense. Not for everyone, but I would recommend it to any horror fan. A+ 2 thumbs up.

This movie resets the bar for horror. Absolutely the best horror movie I've seen in the last 5 years, and one of the best I've ever seen.

All I have to say is WOW! This is the first movie in quite awhile that gave me chills within the first 25 minutes. This movie is amazing! That's all I can say. Watch it, if you haven't seen it!

I too watched the film, and had a significantly worse reaction to it than the median. It led to me writing an open letter to the filmmakers.
It can be found here: http://vardulon.blogspot.com/2008/04/open-letter-t o-makers-of-inside.html
Thank you for your time.

Great movie. The French just keep bombarding us with breathtaking horror. This is quite possibly my favorite horror film of all time now.

I saw the whole movie and luckily my first language is french so i understood the whole story. It follows a pretty simple story (widow depressed pregnant woman one day from delivery) but turns in the worst case scenario possible. The visual is all too graphic in the most disturbing way. First time i watched it i fast-forwarded the entire movie for a preview and just froze at the last 5 min of the movie which made me turn in my bed for one day until i took the whole movie in. My comment is: don't watch if you're currently pregnant, it will make your water broke.

ok wow, I just found this website where you can watch free movies and they had this flick uploaded in 3 different parts.... it's in French but w/ eng. subs...OMG.... the 3 mins I watched (I think towards the end) were very, very disturbing almost to the point where I felt my stomach turning... wow, i'll just mention I saw a pole and that did it for me... wow. I'll buy the movie but I don't know if I could handle the whole thing in 1 shot... it looks like a visually exhausting film from what i've seen.

I down loaded the movie a month ago and it was intense right up to the very end and it kept me interested but really bloody as it had high points an low but always ending with some sort of action in it MY ONLY COMMENT to the people reading I couldn't find a copy in ENGLISH and I do not speak French my loss in this case, cause it was good even though I had to guess most of what was taking place good one to see if you speak French.
