Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral
Set 23 years after the previous film, we follow Trish Jenner (Gina Phillips), who is now a mother. Realizing that the return of the Creeper is just around the corner, she begins to have terrible recurring nightmares of her own teenage son confronting the creature and suffering the same fate as her deceased brother. Now a rich and powerful woman, she's determined to finally put an end to the Creeper once and for all.

Fango spoke with writer/director Victor Salva recently, where he revealed that the script is completed and they're ready to start pre-production. He also confirms that it will have a prologue in the Old West, detailing how the "Creeper" became such a legend among cowboy and Native American folklore. Now that the writer's strike is over, things are finally moving along for the project. Fango spoke with actor Ray Wise and writer/director Victor Salva recently, where they revealed details on the upcoming film. According to the article Ray Wise will reprise his role as "Jack Taggart Sr." from the previous film, and Jonathan Breck is set to return as the "Creeper."
Also, it seems that the rumors of the film taking place in the west and being set 20 years after the events of the previous movie are both true, as Victor Salva confirms that the script will have a prologue set in the "Old West" and then forward to 20 years after the events of the previous movie. Victor also added that we may see characters from the first two movies make some sort of appearance in this one.

There's no word on whether the rumored premise will be set in the past, offering more backstory on the Creeper, or if it'll be set 23 years after the events of the second film, making it his next time to feed. Either way, it was only a matter of time before it finally moves forward since Victor has expressed interest in continuing the story for years now.
