- Produced by Marc Platt (The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising) and Timur Bekmambetov (Night Watch, Day Watch).
- The project was said to be originally developed by Ian Mansfield Rothkerch and Justin Stanley at Alucard Films, but in 2003 Rothkerch passed away, leaving Stanley to eventually team up with Torchia.
