Well, it didn't take long for the film to get US distribution, as its been recently reported that Magnolia Pictures has picked up the distribution rights and will release it via its genre label, Magnet, sometime later this year. Considering Magnet's track record thus far (Outlaw, Shrooms) the film will likely get a very limited release before hitting DVD.

I thought this film was very good. With my usual tendency towards films such as Martyrs and Inside, this was a nice change. The music, visuals, and acting cooperate perfectly. It was a bit of a slow movie, but i think that made it all the better for a change. I highly recommend this movie.

watched this last night and was really impressed by the story and the acting. very original with some good effects. a little slow in spots but with the countless remakes churning in hollywood these days it is good to see a original horror film. both kids who play the parts are great but i thought the kid who played the bully was extremely good in his role. this movie is not for everyone, but, i really liked the atmosphere and the story. well done all around.

Watched this last night and can't really understand why everyone is raving about it. Yes, it was a good movie but nothing that great. On the cover art someone quotes it as being the best vampire movie ever made, or something like that. I can't say it's the best, but it's up there. Would've liked to have more kills, but for what it was, it was good.
