The official site has recently gone live and director Jack Messitt had this to say about the status of the film:

"We are only 5 weeks from total completion of the film. We are just putting the finishing touches on the sound design at the Bigfoot Entertainment facilities in Cebu, Philippines as well as working with Los Angeles based Pixel Magic (300, Fantastic Four, SWAT) on our visual effects."

I'm not bashing it because it's a horrible looking movie, it actually looks REALLY good and original! But what I am saying is that it has already been done before except it was in a movie theatre not a drive-in!
