The film has received a November 9th '07 theatrical release that will reportedly open up to over 2,000 theaters here in the US, according to Fango. Meanwhile, if you're in the London area, you can catch the flick at Frightfest on the 24th of this month. Lastly, the MPAA has slapped the flick with an R-rating for "strong violence/gore, terror and language." Sweet!

Fango got their hands on some promo art for the film (seen above) and the following details: That harrowing experience begins with an invitation for a holiday dinner [from a security guard named Thomas], at which point [Angela] finds herself viciously beaten into unconsciousness and handcuffed in his office. As it turns out his dinner invitation was not optional, and it's going to involve a lot more than a meal. If Angela wants to live to see Christmas morning, she must find a way to escape from the parking garage. With no help in sight, Angela must overcome unnerving physical and psychological challenges to survive.

i agree with gorehound.... alexandre aja does an excellent job with his movies, with good gore in all the right places and everything.... I did like this movie alot, and "thomas" is the perfect creep in this movie

So I thought this movie was ok, a good one to watch around the holidays ;-) But I've just come to expect more from Alexandre Aja, I think hes brilliant when it comes to the horror genre but I feel like this one kinda fell flat compared to his other work. Still better then a lot of the garbage thats being put out there now but watch at your own risk.

I think there is an audience for this...just not your basic general audiences of younger/older watchers. Honestly, i was basically attracted by the surface elements: beautiful female(in a hot dress) matching wits with the killer, and fighting for survival. I truly enjoyed this film, and to be honest...wouldn't mind seeing more.

I had high hopes on this, but after watching the trailer i was really disappointed. It's like a "When a stranger calls" meets "Captivity" thing.
