Pulse: Afterlife

The world has been reshaped by the invasion of ghosts via the wireless internet. Cities are deserted, technology has been destroyed and the few remaining human beings eschew anything electrical in order to avoid a confrontation with the soulless ghosts that now wander the planet. Most of the ghosts are doomed to a repetitive loop of something they did while they were still despairing humans, but there are some ghosts so locked in denial, they do not know they are dead. They continue to haunt their homes, wrapped in fear that their souls will soon be torn from them.

Actor Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) is set to star in both Pulse sequels, according to Moviehole. He'll play a recently-divorced account executive, who ruined his marraige after sleeping with another woman. Now in this post-apocalyptic world, he and his child are bunkered up behind his heavely-armored mountain lodge, with hopes of keeping the spirits of his jealous ex-wife and possessive fling away.

Wow, direct to video release back to back eh? Sounds like what they did with Return Of The Living Dead 4 and 5.

The Pulse pretty much shitted on the original Asian horror movie. The movie tried way too hard to be scary, and ramming the idea of ghosts coming back through technology just became annoying. They could have just made sequels that actually would have worked and created a series released in theaters. . . BUT! seeing that these are direct dvd movies you KNOW they are gonna suck something fierce.

The Pulse movie is the best movie ever made to me. I knew there were sequels, but at the moment I saw that they were going straight to DVD, I was very disappointed. Not just that, Kristen Bell is not even up for it. Well, at the end it did leave questions, but that's how real movies are supposed to end if a sequel is going to be in the works. The whole concept of Pulse is just genious.

hell yeah! this is whats up...i agree with horrorman, it does matter if the person is famous or not, dealing with horror, its mostly about the movie, the action, the horror, as well as making sense or not...
