- Lucky McKee (May) filmed some scenes, but was "let go" at one point during production and replaced by Trygve Diesen.
- Budgeted at an estimated $1.5-million.
- Jason Lust will produce with David Engel, Lawrence Mattis and David Alpert.
- Quoted as being in the "tough, old-fashioned tradition of STRAW DOGS".
- Stephen Susco (The Grudge, Evil Words) is adapting Ketchum’s novel for the big screen.
- Based on Jack Ketchum’s novel.

hey--i run the production company that put RED together and am the only one who has all the correct information. first, it's a character driven, dramatic revenge story, there are no murderous killing sprees in the way it's pitched on this site, there's no horror (though the thought of someone shooting a dog is certainly horrific), the budget is not $1.5million. it's higher. jason lust, david engel, lawrence mattis and david alpert are not the producers, and trygve diesen and lucky mckee are sharing director credit on the film. if you need any other info, let me know.

thats just heartless...
you deserve to die if you shoot a mans dog....
