It's nothing new that a fourth film was already going to happen since UHM added it to the database last year, but now Moviesonline.ca is reporting that WB's Supernatural star Jensen Ackles may take on the role of Leon Kennedy. Filming is said to begin sometime next year. No word if Milla will return as Alice, especially since we don't know her fate in the third film.

- Currently in the scripting stages.
- Once titled Resident Evil: Afterlife.
- Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) was once said to play the role of Leon Kennedy.
- This project was originally said to be off a couple years ago.
- Original director/writer for the sequels Paul W.S. Anderson once again writes the script.
- The film was originally said to take place in Japan, where they also planned to film.
- The final installment in the Resident Evil movie series.

Ok, i believe that this should probably be the last on because how the 3rd one ended it looks like theres going to be some sort of war with the clones so this should be interesting

wow it'll be sooo awesome !!! I can hardly wait! It'd be sad if they stop making the movies . There's sooo much more to tell... They can make some kind of a prequel I dunno ....
And btw ... I'm a fan of Resident evil from the first RE game ... And I have to tell to all those "FANS" who complain about the movie and Milla to go and get a life .... cuz they SUCK.

i am terrified of zombie movies. however all resident evils were BY FAR THE BEST ive ever seen.
as long as mila comes back as alice. its all good in my books.
am looking forward to see where they go with this one.

Loved the games, love the movies. More please! lol. But seriously, I'd probably buy every damn one of these movies, even if there were six more sequels. Resident Evil is the best Zombie series ever. Milla is as hot as they come. I wanna see more of Leon and the other characters from the game on the big screen tho. They've got soooo much left to tie in on this series from the games. Keep 'er comin'!!!

I really enjoyed this series, just one complaint. I am 27 years old, I remeber back in 1998 standing outside of Hastings book store waiting to pick up my pre-ordered limited edition copy of Resident Evil 2 for playstation, it is still my favorite game to this day. I really wanted them to put that game on the bigscreen, that game would have made an excellent movie. I am kind of saddened this will be the last, considering RE4 & RE5 would have made stellar movies as well, I hope to see another Resident Evil done in cgi, Degeneration was a groovy show.

Do it, I want it done and in theaters by next week.
The RE movies have been a total failure to the game story line. Most RE game fanatics all I hear is complaining. From people that hardly played the games, they always talk about how amazing these movies are. As a huge fan of RE the games, I am also a huge fan of RE the movies. As much as they don't have in common with the game, it doesn't matter. Great movies, can't wait for another.

They mos def need to bring back Milla. I read up that Angie was killed in Detroit, but Jill's still around up in Baltimore. BRING HER BACK! And update us on Claire too!! but do not leave out Milla. No matter what the narrow-minded gamers believe, at this stage the movies are about her character. Why would you pay to see the exact same thing you just played? That's exactly why the Psycho remake flopped a decade ago!! Accept the fact that Alice is for now and forever a part of the RE universe. DEAL WITH IT!!

i agree res evil films are awesome and what makes them better than all other films that are derived from computer game first is the fact they only keep the basics from the games not like that rubbish silent hill where the only difference was instead of it being the dad looking for his daughter it was the mother so u knew wot was going to happen besides res evil games and movies kick ass compared to all other films that started life as games first like tomb raider awesome games turd films , silent hill good games poo film etc etc etc

It would have been fine if they didn't screw the storyline so bad. The RE movies are pathetic, and a waste of time. I'm the biggest fan of the games, and these movies ripped the storyline to pieces. I wish Capcom was smart enough to work side by side with them like Konami did with the Silent Hill movie. -THAT- was a good movie.

I never knew FANS could be so dumb such as SHANE 4rm down under and everyone else who bashes the film. why would anyone want 2 copy making a movie exactly like the video game? how boring could that be? I want to c something new, fresh, and I hate to say this but different and thats wat Paul is giving. I would b even more madder if he just made a movie the same as the video game and I have to spend $12 at the movie theatre to see something that I already know wats going to happen. Hell I might as well played the game if I wanted to c the movie. use yall CS degree (common sense) the RE movies are great keep up the gud work Paul and please dont let number 4 be the last theres more to tell.
