It's nothing new that a fourth film was already going to happen since UHM added it to the database last year, but now Moviesonline.ca is reporting that WB's Supernatural star Jensen Ackles may take on the role of Leon Kennedy. Filming is said to begin sometime next year. No word if Milla will return as Alice, especially since we don't know her fate in the third film.

- Currently in the scripting stages.
- Once titled Resident Evil: Afterlife.
- Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) was once said to play the role of Leon Kennedy.
- This project was originally said to be off a couple years ago.
- Original director/writer for the sequels Paul W.S. Anderson once again writes the script.
- The film was originally said to take place in Japan, where they also planned to film.
- The final installment in the Resident Evil movie series.

afterlife will be starring chris and leon. i think it also has billy. im not sure, it said that chris and leon are the main characters with their friends. so i assume that is barry and billy

it would be awsome if all the survivors on alaska were the protagonist of the main series (chris, jill ,leon, billy coen etc...) hope RE:afterlife will come out soon....

this is bs they shoul have made the movies like the games who the ... is alice she doesnt even have nothing to do there and what about Albert Wesker he is like the main bad guy and he hasnt even come out wtf
