Return to Sleepaway Camp
1

Ronnie (Paul DeAngelo), now a co-owner of a new Camp becomes very suspicious when kids and camp staff begin falling victims to gruesome "accidents" again. Ronnie can't seem to shake what happened 20 years ago at Camp Arawak and with good reason. So as he deals with his paranoia, a large cast of kids and camp staff run amuck doing all the things they can get away with when there is no supervision around and everyone gets wrapped up in the murders.

8.27.04
I wish I knew what the hell was going on with the film, but while we're all wondering what the status of the film is, the official site has a new plot:

It's summer camp as usual at Camp Manabe where the kids torment each other for fun while the underpaid camp staff provide as little supervision as possible. Greedy camp owner Frank (Vincent Pastore) and junior partner Ronnie (Paul DeAngelo) do their best to keep everyone in line, but something sinister is about to put a slash in the roster. When campers and staff mysteriously begin disappearing and turning into gruesome corpses, paranoid Ronnie can't shake the memory of a series of grisly murders that took place at Camp Arawak where he worked 2 decades ago. Has a "ghost" from the past come back to haunt him? As the paranoia worsens, Ronnie's list of possible killers starts growing just like the body count. Everyone becomes a suspect from viscious kids to shady members of the camp staff, and even former Camp Arawak camper Ricky (Jonathan Tiersten) who mysteriously works nearby. Who is knocking off these victims and why? Only one thing is for certain, something is carving a bloody new trail at Sleepaway Camp where kids can be so mean and surviving this summer is gonna be a real killer!

5.17.04
Some new behind-the-scenes photos are up here, along with a status update which states that the film's rough cut is done and the next stage is to enhance some of the death scenes with digital FX.

You can view some photos from the set at the official site located here.

9.07.03
According to a local paper out in Honesdale-Wayne County, filming for the movie is underway and a slew of male extras are needed for the film, so a lot of the lucky locals are being casted. You can check the artilcle here, but be warned that most of the information further down the article is just a bunch of BS that was reported as rumors or jokes in the past. An official statement will be released on the official site soon.

this movie was meant to have bad acting. it was suppose to pay its respects to the original 3 and 1/2 films that came out, because they as well were not at all great in their performance. the deaths scenes were really original as well. i would honestly call this a real sleepaway camp film .

i read all of these reviews before sat down to watch it. obviously, i went into this one without any expectations. i have to say that i enjoyed it; i was very entertained. most of the kills were brutal and original which was a relief. at times, sure, the acting was a little corny and i did find myself especially annoyed by the over the top acting from the "allen" character. i feel like every scene with "bella" made up for that, though. when the ending credits began rolling i was thinking "wow, this wasn't half bad," but the scene at the very end, after the credits were done, made me feel like this film was really worth the watch. i'd recommend this one to any avid "sleepaway camper."

Okay, so while I was not overally pleased with the movie, yes it had crappy acting and over the top performances by people that can't act, it was what I expected. The original was no masterpiece, either and this one doesn't come close, but I feel that if you are a true fan of the original, you should at least give it a chance. The best person in the entire movie is the girl named Bella. The lead kid was a total retard and I couldn't wait for what I thought was supposed to be his death scene. I did have the killer figured out from the get go. I won't give anything away, but it was fun in one way to catch up with the cast and you could see that they wanted to make a movie geared towards the fans of the original, it just looks like they didn't have the money to do all they wanted, especially since it was made like 5 years ago and just now released.

This was one of the worst movies ever. The acting of the whole cast was so fake, even my grandmother would act better than that!
I can't believe how some people actually spend money on making total crap like that! And then they dare to release it even on DVD!
Complete waste of time.

This was just an awful film. The characters were such dooshbags you wanted them to die. It also copied a few of the personalities of the first. We had the black cook, the over dramatic camp counselor, the alcoholic camp owner... etc.. To make matters worse, the fat nerd, was just unbearable. At least with Angela, you felt sorry for her. What a waste.

SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I waited YEARS for this to finally get off the cutting room floor and for post production to wrap up only to see that it was a low budget crapper! Too much of a cheap carbon copy of the first (that stupid fake cop like the first----come on now). This had the potential to be an AMAZING movie, especially with all the publicity surrounding it. What a JIP!!! The talents of the 3 original actors went TOTALLY to waste, or at leaste it would had if they remembered how to act!!!! BRING BACK PAMELA SPRINGSTEEN

WTF I JUST GOT THROUGH SEEING THIS PIECE OF CRAP OF A MOVIE AND DAMN IT I WAS DISSAPPOINTED. (SPOILERS REMOVED) THIS MOVIE HAD NO MYSTERY AT ALL BECAUSE EVERYTHING WAS SO PREDICTABLE. I AM A HUGE FAN OF THE FIRST SO I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW THE ORIGINAL CREATOR COULD F**k THIS MOVIE UP SO MUCH. FEAST WAS ANOTHER SH**TY SEQUEL ALONG WITH LOST BOYS 2. IF YOUR GOING TO DO A SEQUEL, DO IT RIGHT DAMN IT. WHAT A WASTE.
