Saw 3

Jigsaw has disappeared. With his new apprentice Amanda (Shawnee Smith), the puppet-master behind the cruel, intricate games that have terrified a community and baffled police has once again eluded capture and vanished. While city detectives scramble to locate him, Doctor Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) is unaware that she is about to become the latest pawn on his vicious chessboard.

One night, after finishing a shift at her hospital, Lynn is kidnapped and taken to an abandoned warehouse where she meets Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), bedridden and on the verge of death. She is told that she must keep the madman alive for as long as it takes Jeff (Angus Macfayden), another of his victims, to complete a game of his own. Racing against the ticking clock of Jigsaw's own heartbeat, Lynn and Jeff struggle to make it through each of their vicious tests, unaware that he has a much bigger plan for both of them...

LATEST NEWS

10/13/06
The final poster featuring Tobin Bell as "Jigsaw" is shown above. What makes this poster so unique is the fact that Tobin's real blood was mixed with the paint. You can also watch a clip that debuted on Spike TV's Scream Awards the other night here, and the new and final trailer for the film can be found in the trailers area.

The final theatrical trailer is now available (check link on your left), courtesy to Yahoo! Movies, where you can also view some new pics.

I've added a couple new pics below, as well as the new theatrical trailer to your left. Also, the Blood Drive posters have been changed with the Red Cross symbol removed, as the real Red Cross were displeased by it. The cross is still on the little pics, but not on the enlarged ones if you click on'em.

I'm a bit late with this announcement, but apparently those hoping to see that opening footage in front of the film Crank will be disappointed. It seems that the footage was proved to be "too intense for exhibition". Now Lionsgate reportedly in the process of finding an age-appropriate online outlet to debut the footage.

The series of Saw Blood Drive posters can be seen above. Also, if you catch Crank in theaters September 1st you'll be shown the first scene from Saw 3 as a special sneak peek for the film. The only details that were revealed about the scene were that it'll be the first of Jigsaw's games and it'll be gory.

Finally the trailer is now available online.

Despite the untimely death of producer Gregg Hoffman, its official that Lionsgate is going ahead with the production with a set release of October 27th (as previously reported). They hope to extend the franchise to "new limits" and develop a script that'll stay true to the previous films while adding "unimaginable new twists." Its been said that this will be "made for the fans" with no studio execs telling them what to do.

12/08/05
