DETAILS
- The film was delayed from being added to the UHM database for years due to the fact that it seemed more action-thriller oriented than horror. After much interest from fans and the hilarious-looking trailer, it was then decided to be added.
- The film originally had a PG-13 rating, until additional scenes were filmed, securing an R-rating. The scenes include Sam Jackson hollaring the lines "I want these motherf**king snakes off the motherf**king plane!" Also, there is reportedly more gore, more deaths, more nudity and more snakes to the finished product.
- The film was done with production September of 2005, but due to tremendous fan interest (mostly people bashing the film because of its silly title), in March of '06 additional scenes were filmed.
- Star Sam Jackson signed onto the film simply on the title alone.
- David R. Ellis also directed Final Destination 2 and Cellular.
