DETAILS

- Budgeted at an estimated $900k.
- Principal photography took 30 days and was shot on over 22 locations throughout North Carolina. 7 sets were built from scratch in a warehouse to provide the unique settings for the story. Other locations include a turn-of-the-century farmhouse and the church originally used in the film, The Color Purple.
- Shot in 1080P high definition using the Sony 950 with Cinetal monitor provided by Able Cinetech in New York. Director Mark Young says, "the use of this video format allowed us to achieve 30-40 setups per day without giving up a beautiful, filmic look."
