Murderers, Killers etc... aren't scary. Looks interesting but nothing to keep me remembering it in the dark and that is why movies like texas chainsaw masacre, SAW, Halloween etc.. aren't scary because they are just mentally ill humans, not ghosts, not things, not demons just people and people aren't scary and easily explanable.

This looks an awful lot like a remake of a superb French psychological thriller called THEM (or "Ils" in French). Now there's a great movie that really slaps on TENSION rather than gore. I thought THEM was brilliant!

This movie seems to bring the long forgetten horror film essense of true horror and suspense!!! It seems like nothing in this movie will be recycled and predictable horror movie garbarge and will be far from the teenie-bopper slashers of the past couple years. I can't wait for this to hit theatres!!! I can hardly contain my pleasure at seeing a horror movie being made that doesn't seem to confine itself to the limitations of all it's competitors. I can hardly contain my pleasure at seeing that this movie have standards and mean something ten years from now!!! But all I can do is hope until the evidence is presented to me on opening night. And so I am left to HOPE that this movie will not let me or us TRUE HORROR FANS down!!!

It is based on and inspired by the Manson Murders, the murders of Jeffrey Dahmer, and the murders of Jeffrey R. MacDonald...though nothing like this ever happened it takes away from these true events.
