| ![]() Emma has a strong aversion towards her family’s new house, especially the attic. After moving in, she becomes miserable and reclusive. The rest of her family also seems unhappy and unsettled. The situation escalates one day when Emma is in the attic alone. All of a sudden someone who looks like Emma’s identical twin sister attacks her viciously. Emma is convinced that someone or something is haunting her, and she refuses to leave her house until she can piece the puzzle together. Eventually, Emma suspects her parents of hiding skeletons in the closet from the family’s past and practicing evil wicca rituals. As the clues pile up, she discovers that she did once have a sister named Beth, who died twelve days after Emma was born. Emma realizes that this identical twin apparition may actually be Beth returning to life. LATEST NEWS 11.16.07 Comments page 1 of 1:
I loved this movie! It's not without its faults, but I thought the storyline was great and the acting very good. I thought they should have ended it before the last scene, but what are ya gonna do? Confidential to Silver Moon Phoenix: the symbols in the attic were supposed to be Wiccan, but the expert said Wicca is a peaceful religion. Some people use these symbols for evil ceremonies, but they are not necessarily Wiccan. I guess Wiccans have to take their lumps in horror movies, just like any other religion.
It comes out on January 22, 2008 for DVD? What the hell....its already out here in Australia O.o owel im gonna go rent it =]
Didn't the Simpsons do this story?????
great! a nother horably acted film to drag the names of all wiccans names through the mud. we worship peace and nature not demons and devils. those belong to christianity and they can keep them!
this movie kinda sounds like the messengers, except its happening in the attic instead of the basement!
