- Produced by Scott Rudin (The Adam's Family) and original Blob producer Jack H. Harris.
- The script was written by Chad and Carey W. Hayes.
- A second remake of the 1958 film. The first remake was made in 1988.

i never seen the 50s version either, but i did love the 80s version, it was a kick ass film, rite to the end!!

never seen the 50's version, have the 80's on dvd and loved it. would be cool to have another remake but with a slightly different plot. also would be very cool to bring back shawnee smith, loved her!!! hey daniel if you hear of anything, please let me know...thanks

I'd prefer something new and different,like Global Warming defrosting and freeing The Blob or prehaps something asskicking in the wave of Freddy vs Jason and Aliens vs Predator,I'd love to see a "GODZILLA vs THE BLOB" battle film,and yes kids,MILLIONS WILL DIE when Godzilla fights The Blob.

The origianl was awsome, a total classic, the one in the 80s I mean
it was a total classic, but I agree with Werewolf Hunter, I think it should stay dead.

I think this should stay dead. The 50's version was great and creepy; the 80's version wasn't totally nesscesary. I didn;t think it was that great, although the over-the-top gore was great.
