WELL THIS OBVIOUSLY ISNT GOING TO BE BRILLIANT BUT I DO LIKE HOW IT HAS A DIRTY,GRIMEY,SWEATY FEEL AND LOOK TO IT LIKE ALIEN DID BUT HONESTLY THE MONSTERS LOOKE LIKE THEY JUST STEPED OF A STAR TREK SET. LOL THIS JUST REMINDS ME OF SCI FI CRAP. BUT YOU CANT BE DISAPOINTED WITH FILMS LIKE THIS BECAUSE YOU DONT GO IN WITH MUTCH HOPE ANYWAY.NOT SAYING THIS IS A HORRABLE MOVIE IT DOES LOOK INTERTAINING IM JUST SAYING THEY COULD HAVE DONE A LITTLE BETER ON THE MONSTERS AND SETS.

This seems like it could be decent. "Aliens" and "The Evil Dead" are in top 10horror movies, so that was good to read. Watched the trailer, looked alright. I never saw "Doom", still no intentions, but from the trailers I saw I can see some resemblance. After reading the synopsis, I originally thought "The Thing" meets "Aliens". I definitely like the idea of not using CG for monster effects. However, the Australian horrors that I have seen up to this point, haven't been.... great. But, this has potiental. I'm probably gonna find the screenplay and read that.

Actually, I have more faith in "small time" movies like this one than the craptastic messes that Hollywood cranks out as PG-13 "horror movies". Hell, most of the horror movies that are good are these type of under-the-radar movies or straight to dvd here in the states. Hollywood is a pussy and I am tired of getting ripped off at the movies. I'll give movies like these more of a chance then lets say, oh I don't know --ONE MISSED CALL or PROM NIGHT. Remakes suck ass and so does Hollywood. Can't wait to see this one.

Why does this movie look alot like the movie that the Rock was in about space aliens I don't remember the name of the movie,but hey I guess I will wait till dvd lol.But the movie I am talking about was based on a video game.

Looks like it's going with the old school prosthetic effects rather than CG, which is definitely a plus. Totally going to see this movie, and Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer looks sweet too.
