I read an article on IMDb.com about this movie. The guys making it are aiming for a PG-13. How is that even possible considering the subject matter?
I hate remakes. Hollywood should stop butchering horror classics.
(Like "Halloween" for example. What a crapfest that was)

Some remakes are definitely worthwhile and when it comes to horror movies...well as long as the special effects are off the hook then it'll be worth seeing. I however wasn't a big fan of Ringu...knock off to the Ring

well, the thing about remakes is the horror industry is like the fuel industry, well probly be out of ideas probly well before gasoline runs out. its all been done. the imagination is very limited in the bump in the night area. i on the other hand enjoy remakes, true most of them suck, but it gives a new view on it, in some ways its better than watching a totally new movie. this movie was friggan awesome and i boldly say i cant wait to see the remake.

That's all I am saying. I am so tired of all the remakes. It's like no one has any originality anymore. Other than the Saw films, there has only been corny remakes of old movies. Are they running out of ideas or something. MAby the Japanese movies should be shown in Theatres then, not the american remakes becasue those suck too.

give me a break..does every film need to be remade? dont get me wrong i enjoyed rob zombies halloween version, but like reality television...... its getting damn old..some films need to remain the one and only..whats going to happen 30 years from now ...another remake of a remake?? next thing is some fool will try to remake starwars or something..the only entity i will be watching is with barbara hershey..i wish directors would appreciate the original and make something original themselves.
