well i liked the first act in it, then it became out of context, turning into a black comedy type of film in the 2nd act, then returning to the first idea in the third, introducing new characters out of nowhere, just went in with higher expectations...

I went and saw this movie not knowing what to expect and I LOVED it... It was the only movie I've seen in a LONG time that actually made me sick to my stomach. The only other movie that did that to me recently was Funny Games U.S.

Saw and liked it. Although the opening was...odd. The movie was quight badass and there was a lot of gore and a few grusome deaths. Worth a once watch for sure, however I won't be buying it.

thought the movie was pretty good. It was broken down into three transmissions (acts), each from a different viewpoint, and each done by a different director. The first sets up the movie and in my opinion was the best because it was full of suspense and horror. the second was very comedic. I thought it was funny, but I didn't go there to see a comedy. The third ends it and is kind of slow. Overall, very good for an independent film. Woud definitely recomend and watch it again.

jus saw the signal, pretty badass movie if i do say so myself, batshit insane, a lot of people seemed to not like it though, but they were like 15 year olds that snuck in so im sure they woulda rather seen meet the spartans or rob's holloween. on a side note eli roth is the f'n man screw the haters cant wait for the cell!

screw u danil, stephen king can't write bad novels, short stories anything. Christ he wrote Cujo while he was blind drunk and it's now a classic novel. Cell is brilliant and no the movie does not pre date it the idea and writing proscess comes befor the release idiot

If people would read up on this movie, they would realize this movie pre-dates 'Cell'by a year. Plus if you saw the plot line it is more interesting than this terrible King novel.

I knew this film was based on "Cell". Originally it was the cell phones that caused everyone to lose humanity & turn primal. Which in turn caused them to start killing anyone that has not been affected by the signal. The book is pretty intense & you become sympathetic to the characters who are basically trying to survive this armageddon.

cell is my favorite book... and for stephen kings record of things... they were fair game to be called zombies.... i really hope eli roth doesnt change to much... i did hear that he is going to show the world wide breakout unlike the book i hope that is cool... this does look similar to cell, but im sure cell will be better

Yea, and in "Cell" they where neither zombies as well. They were just crazed victims of this signal over the cell phones that turned them into mindless killing(not eating or dead) machines that mutated into these monters with special powers.
