When a Stranger Returns


No official plot yet, but the original sequel told the story of similar events of the first movie happening to a new girl, and the victim from the first film is now aiding the new girl with the help of a retired cop that also worked on the original case back in '79.

Writer Jake Wade Wall spoke with Moviehole recently, revealing that the project is on the "fast track." It's also unknown if it'll bare the same title as the original sequel or not, which would conflict with the title above, which was the title that was originally reported a couple years ago, before the remake began production.

DETAILS

- It's uncertain if lead actress Camilla Belle will return.
- This is supposedly on the "fast track".
- More details on the killer will be revealed in this film.
- It's unknown whether it will be entitled When a Stranger Calls Back, much like the sequel to the original 1993 movie or When a Stranger Returns, which was the title that was first announced.
- Jake Wadewall (Next Door) is currently writing the script for this.
- This was originally thought to also be a remake.
- Sony Screen Gems is behind this.
- The sequel to the When a Stranger Calls remake.

The Title is RETARDED! If the stranger is returning he is already known??? Oh yeah just to us, the stupid audience that would go and see this sequel. The first remake sucked. Cool house, but the plot was... What the hell? I saw the original in theaters, I liked the twist. The director missed the screening of the original movie and missed the twist. WILL A HOLLYWOOD PRODUCER WITHIN THE SOUND OF THIS BLOG CALL ME AND I WILL HELP YOU MAKE MONEY!
