Premise:
Following the events after the US ending, Sarah has escaped from the cave and has found aid at a nearby hospital. Now, mentally scarred and unable to speak, she helps lead a search and rescue team back to the cave in hopes of finding survivors.

Just want to correct the small error the descent was not neil marshall's first film it was his 3rd the first was combat which was a short film that can be found on the special features of dog soldiers, With dog soldiers being his second film.
I really can't wait for descent 2 it's been a long time coming upon reading the premise for it well over a year ago I was very skeptical as to weather it would be anygood, But after a host of rave reviews while it was doing the uk cinema rounds my excitment grew.
I'm curious as to what the US ending to the original was, as everybody died in the UK version???
When I say "first film", I meant in regards to the first Descent film, NOT that was Neil Marshall's directorial debut. I do realize this wasn't his first film and see where you might have been confused when reading the post.
