This FILM was Awful

I thought it was kind of bad. It wasn't much better than the Friday the 13th remake to me.

Why is it not in 3D!!!!
IT the killer clown remake in 3D would be good remake has this 2010 or going into 2011 would be BEST remake by the summer with plot that that fits flim in horror takes 3D in horror flims in whole new level be nice .
All it has against it are Michael Bay's record and a non existent Robert Englund but I agree this trailer is much better than the first. I think Jackie Earle Haley will do just fine with the role and remakes can add their own unique take on the storyline. I'll have to wait and see.
I couldn't agree more it does look more realistic this movie is definitly a must see, can't wait
One more thing the guy that said that he "Hates the new mask". First off its not a mask he isnt jason or michael myers, Second its more of a realistic burn victim face the Englund make-up was not it was just created so now its more realistic FYI!!!
I must say that after seeing this tralier I am very excited to see this movie I think JEH will play a great freddy(maybe even as good as robert englund) and the cast looks great. I just hope that its not to CGI cuz that would ruin it for me! SCREW AVITAR!!!!

I have to agree with the previous comment. At first, I really wasn't up to the idea of a ''New Freddy''. The slapstick in the later franchise installments were making the movies less and less scary. After seeing this new trailer, it all makes sense. I think ''Nightmare'' needs a darker edge to it because, let's face it, Freddy Kruger is one of the scariest characters ever created.
On the strength of this new trailer, I say give the flick a chance.
Oh my gosh, how many times do we have to go through with this?
Freddy is NOT innocent. He tries to come off like he is. He DID commit all the crimes while he was alive. Nothing to worry about.
Now to the burns. The original Freddy Krueger make up, according to the make up artist himself, was based on a PEPPORONI PIZZA. A pizza! This is much more realistic looking.
People who miss the corny one liners, are you being serious? The makes him much less intimidating. Watch 5 and 6 again. Who would you be more scared of between the 4-6 Robert Englund or Jackie Earle Haley? That's what I thought.
As for Englund, face it guys, he's too old. He was barely able to do Freddy vs. Jason, which was just a simple money making popcorn movie, that's it. I'm really looking forward to watching Jackie Earle Haley. As soon as I finished watching The Watchmen, I said "This guy IS Freddy Krueger." Now don't get me wrong, I liked Robert Englund, but I do honestly think Haley is the superior actor. Give him a chance. We may like him better. Look at Jason. Kane Hodder didn't show up until the 7th movie and that seems to be everybody's favorite Jason. It may be the same with Haley.
PLEASE give this movie a chance and STOP dwelling on the past. Thanks for reading and have a good day.
From the looks of the trailers they have made Kruger into a wrongly accused man. Is that supposed to be the case? I'm not buying it. What made Freddy so evil was the fact that he killed children in "real" life before he was burned. The whole innocent man thing dosn't work for me.
I think before anyone starts heaving clumped shit at their local movie theater screens it would behoove them to really put things into perspective and go back and watch--- oh let's say nightmare 5. It might perhaps make you think twice before you insist on crying about the makeup or any childish unmerited pissy issue you have because really you hate your life and you through reflection take it out on platinum dunes and Michael Bay(I'm kidding). I debated the virtues of Freddy's overall personality to some dildo on my facebook about how disapointed he was that Freddy was too serious and was no longer cracking wise--- pfft. Out of all the one liners my favorite was "Welcome to prime time bitch." And that was 1 out of probably 100 corny attempts at humor. I dig his more menacing side like in nightmare 1&2. I think this reimagining will be a blast and I'm glad someone decided to take a real chance with this project. I think it looks rad

It's suppose to be a more realistic burn image but I agree, I think they should have stayed with the old version of his body BUT it looks good so I'm looking forward to seeing this.
This doesn't look all that scary to me but it looks good. It looks better than the Friday the 13th remake.
