Ok, lets run down the checklist for any gothic/mythic storyline, let's see, deadly sword, yep, got one..young innocet and nubile girl, check...ancient necklace, yep, got one of those too... malevolent evil (is there really any other kind?)yep, got evil right here...attempting to reach home/sanctuary safely via running through myraid of dangers and hordes of demonic creatures, check...got immpossible and overwhelming odds...and all of this to be played out in a small quite farmland town so as to contain and isolate the protagonists even further from all hopes of respite? yep, got that dread covererd. This has all the ingredients to be quite a gem of a film, let's hope they don't screw it up by losing sight of the what makes an epic an epic...the examination of the human spirit.
I'm Looking forward to this being better than I hope. I'm hoping to be impressed.
Looks like it's gonna kick ass. I wanna see it... but last i heard there's no scheduled US release
Hells ya! Absolutely sick shots! Brad goes f'ing medieval!
"I will dispatch the very essence of nightmares are fabricated from until it is pryed from your decaying flesh!"
He even does his Chucky laugh! 10 out of 10! Serious wicked shit!
I like, I like
fuck yeah! agreed Salem!
Oh wow! I've been waiting this one forever. I so want to see this! Really good production values for a zombie indie film.
Am I the only one here who's like
WTF MATE! HUH? WAT? WAT WAS THAT?
What was what? Pretty self explanatory mate. Dude, don't even be dissin' my main bro!
rite fuckin on man. Brad is pullin off some maniacal crazy shit in this. this trailer looks hardFUCKINGcore badass
Yup just you!
LMAO!
Speechless!
THIS IS UNREAL. this is the SICKEST fuckin trailer man. the pics impressed me before. man i so wanna see Jordan and Brad kick some serious ass. this needs to come out fuckin now. stop waiting Brian. WOW man
Brian is a genius
I just read somewhere that Brian Metcalf was listed as the director, producer, writer, and vfx supervisor. Hats off to him because this looks great.
i thought james cameron was directing avatar not fading of the cries. brian we love you. this just keeps getting better HELL YES!!!!!!!!!
heard a lot about this lately and these effects shots are incredible. this just went to the top of my list. this looks like an amazing movie.
I've been following this for quite some time and this more than confirms everything of which I had thought and hoped for, and then it exceeds my expectations completely. I couldn't agree more in regards to the hero/villain combination. Jordan is the perfect guy for this role. Everything I've read and seen on him of late points this out. Brad is by far just an brilliant move in casting. This role must have been written with him in mind. I am officially counting the days and going out to buy a new sleeping bag tomorrow morning to camp out for this.
i love Jordan here. he looks really cool but with a softer side too.
BEAUTIFUL
KICKIN SOME MAJOR ASS
COUNT FUCKIN DOWN TO OPENING WEEKEND
hey dude how about we partner up and go in on some tickets to Drag Con. kidding, but not really. im gonna start a charity for this. raise money for FOTC tickets to Drag Con. come on everyone isnt it like a tax benefit for charity
HAHA. It's interesting because previous information had mentioned this in comparison to Twilight. I can see the connection but this is unbelievable. I can't think of the last time I was so psyched to see something like this. And they have the perfect bad guy/good guy combo going it appears.
haha nice choice of words. this is definitely so cool. yeah they pictures were really amazing but this trailer is gorgeous. Jordan looks hot and so good. yummmmmm
It appears as though we are to have this conversation again. He seems like a more in depth individual too from interview. Not just a poster boy but someone with a thought process, inclusive of some apparently intensive fight sequences. My sincere apologies ladies
done (I JUST PUT UP A HUGE PICTURE OF JORDAN NEXT TO JOHNNY)
yeah but just because hes sexxy doesnt mean that hes like just pretty. he kinda reminds me of johnny depp so whats bad about that. they both have a sexxy look and feel. johnny is a great actor. i LUV him you dont have to apologize
Jordan is a fuckin badass in this. these battle scenes are the FUCKIN shit
Yeah he does and the battle sequences are absolutely epic. agreed
wat about that one awesome shot where he spins through the guys and plants the sword rite in the dudes chest.. BEAST
i can really see that cause there's this softness to his voice. cool and interesting...
i was soooo thinkin the same thing. HOTTIE
Hey Jennks all is can say is this. First of your rite cause this dude Jordan actually looks like a badass. BRAD IS BACK. EPIC all the way. i think i gonna fly down to ATL just to check this out. way to change my plans
I must say that this is visually stunning and this had to be quite possibly the best i've ever seen Brad. This role looks legendary
This is visually magnificent. Some of the major scenes, from the sky to the major crowd shots, remind my of Lord Of The Rings.
I really am into what I see as Brad is a fantastic actor and I really enjoyed the visual context; light and dark textures.
i can't remember the last time i saw something this good. Dourif is always one to watch.
Nothin personal man but you seriously took my line man i was gonna say the same thing about the rings and fading. AAAAHHH man im killin it now i cant sleep tonite after this cool ass shit
So a cross between highlander, a zombie movie, and from the clothing the matrix OK well it looks like someone watched too much TV went to bed and thought my dream is awesome. I'll make it a movie.
We need somthing new.
Yeah, let's see what our other choices are here:
1. Final Destination (part 4) - another sequel that is exactly the same as the first.
2. Saw part 6 - Part 6??? Got bored after part 3
3. Remake for Nightmare on Elm Street
4. Remake for The Blob
5. Halloween 2 remake.
So, in a world full of remakes and tired sequels, you're accusing a film that combines zombies, sword play and matrix style as unoriginal?
Where nothing is original anymore, this is actually the most original movie I've seen come out in a very long time. I agree with May here. Zombieland is just about a group of survivors killing zombies with guns. Wait a minute, have I heard of this plot before?
So films with swordplay all now belong to Highlander whereas apparently Errol Flynn didn't exist in the 40's and people wearing dark long coats are due to Matrix even though he's sporting the same coat as the 1929 Nosferatu.
This is the most original zombie film I can recall in years. Adding the fact that you have a leader (which is my boy, Brad - yes a real bad guy instead of the WB and CW badguys nowadays) and that our hero doesn't use guns but instead a sword - that's pretty dope. Throw in a couple demons for good measure and high production values and I think this something never before seen.
And I gotta say, I was very skeptical at first when I first heard the plot of this taking place in a small town, I thought "yup it figures its in a small town just to hide the budget." But after seeing the trailer, and the pics this looks extremely nice and epic. The imagery is so stylized and beautiful, the acting looks superb with established actors. It's right down my alley. I have rarely defended a film so much since Cloverfield.
you just listed everything cool all rolled into one. makes me wanna go even more now that you brought that to my attention. thanks
