HALLOWEEN 3D now delayed
Looks like those who were worried about a the third installment in Rob Zombie's Halloween series was being rushed will now be able to breathe a sigh of relief, as Deadline Hollywood reports that production has halted on the film. The script (written by Todd Farmer) was turned in last week and production was to begin in November and finish in January.
However, it seems that the Weinsteins have come to their senses and have decided to start the project after director Patrick Lussier's schedule clears up, as he has another film to work on in the beginning of next year, hence the rushed production start. Halloween 3D originally had an October 2010 theatrical release planned, but after this delay it's likely to be pushed to another date.

This seems like a blessing to me. The last time a Halloween film was rushed immediately into production we were treated to that, to say the least, bizarre entry known as part 5. And the Weisteins have no one to blame but themselves for their financial trouble. Not only do they have a very well known reputation for interferring with productions, but they also send some of their best aquisitions straight to DVD.
It happens when they spend more than they make back.
I think this sucks ass and the weinsteins need to break what ever contract or agreement they have with Patrick Lussier. The guy shouldnt have jumped into a project knowing he had to do another one. As a Halloween fan im pist.
