Premise:
Sam (Donahue) is a pretty college sophomore, so desperate to earn some cash for a deposit on an apartment that she accepts a babysitting job even after she finds out there is no baby. Mr. and Mrs. Ulman (cult actors Noonan and Woronov) are the older couple who lure Sam out to their creeky Victorian mansion deep in the woods, just in time for a total lunar eclipse.

Megan (Gerwig) is Sam’s best friend, who gives her a ride out to the house, and reluctantly leaves her there despite suspecting that something is amiss. Victor (Bowen) at first seems like just a creepy guy lurking around the house, but quickly makes it clear that Sam will end this night in a bloody fight for her life....

I agree, Yeah this felt very 80s but not a good 80s movie one of the movies you wait nearly the entirity of the film to see something in a scene you were told about at school. A nice effort but very boring. I love the vhs Idea long live its legacy,i still have my vhs collection filled with films just like this i just don't feel this is a classic

If the movie was actually good, I'd be all over this. But it was boring as hell, so not even the cool 80s style could make it worth owning on both dvd and vhs.
