Neve returns as Sidney Prescott in SCREAM 4
Original writer Kevin Williamson wrote the script for the upcoming sequel, and will write the next two sequels, making it a new trilogy to the series. Courteney Cox and husband David Arquette are also back, with word that their characters are now married and have a kid. The Deputy Dewey character is also said to now be a Sheriff. Little else is known about the story, except that it takes place 10 years after the events of the third film.

oh i guess it is fine and dandy
I am really surprized Neve is returning to these films. Maybe she's desperate for money or something as it seems she has not done much since party of five and the scream movies. But Scream 3 was such a let down so they better make this one better so they don't ruin the franchise.
Seiously? Why? this series was never really scary to anyone over the age of 18 in the first place......why keep this going?

well im on board for this one! the scream movies were good the third was ok. so making three more should b very intresting. cant wait but im sure we wont this tis till sometime at the end of the yr, next yr if not 2011!!!!
I will admit the Scream Franchise was awesome, but the last film was very subpar. How hard is it to just leave movies like this ALONE!! Its almost as if noone is creative anymore. The directors want to just remake old classics
Talk about desperate... Neve Campbell hasn't had a job since scream.
Scream 1 and 2 were very good. Scream 3..... well, at least Parker Posey was in it.

She's been in other things.... mostly small, indie movies. she's out there.
Let's see if i can guess this one - Sidney is fresh out of a friggin asylum. If she makes it past this first part to this second trilogy i picture her being the killer in the final movie.
Because there is no way in hell this chick can possibly still be sane after being targeted by so many serial killers.
Neve did once say she wouldn't return to the franchise unless she was in an insane asylum.
