QUARANTINE 2 on the way!
The story isn't known at the moment, but it's rumored that the infection will be moving from the apartment building to an airport, so this won't be a remake of [Rec] 2, which was released theatrically in Spain last year.
This would mark John Pogue's directorial debut after scripting films like 1998's U.S. Marshals, The Skulls and its DVD sequels, along-with Ghost Ship in 2002. It's said that viewers can expect to see Quarantine 2 debut on DVD, however a theatrical release may still be in the cards. Only time will tell.

i really like the 1st movie. it actually scared me which few horror movies actually do now-a-days. im excited to see a sequel!

Thank god! i for one loved the first one. had me clutching my popcorn the entire time. Ooh goosebumps. lol But to be fair i never seen Rec. but i heard it was good. if i had faster internet i would definatelly look it up, But anyways yes im totally excited about this. especially if it takes place in an airport! i'll definatelly be in line to see this when it comes out.
You'd think they raped that movie enough but now a secound one wow hollywood really is goin down hill. stealing original ideas, raping them beyond the limit, and tryin to change the storyline in the sequel just to make it better even though there's nothing that could make what they've done to this movie any better. wow my eyes were never raped that bad by a movie and i've seen some pretty eye raping movies like Zombie Diaries for example that movie was so horrible and someone had the balls to say it was better than 28 days later wow what bullshit anyways i had to take the biggest shit when i finnished the first one. What im trying to say is they need to stop this ... just drop the idea and leave it alone ..
Right,I have seen [Rec] 2 And i mean the twist was Shocking...well to me and i like it in Spanish because most movie's which come out are in English and this is different and re-making it into English is just WTF? Wasting money on a movie which could easy have voice over's .... but hey! they wanna make money money money!
[REC] (the first one) actually HAD and english version... voice over I should say, on the dvd... so [REC] 2 should have the same.
Ghostship was horrible in every way possible...
Ghosst Ship was a rip off of Death Ship just with ghosts. Death Ship needs to come to dvd.

Noooooooooooo,Rec 2 is wicked I was hoping there wouldn't be a Quarantine 2 as the first one was wank.I'm kinda glad it's not going to be a direct remake, but surely keeping it on the same path as it's spanish counterpart would be the best plan?

I suppose the only good news is John Pogueto is directing, I'm hoping his directing is as good as his writing as I revisited Ghost Ship the other week and thats a really good film and if my memory serves me The Skulls films were quite good as well, U.S Marshalls not so.
