Trailer for the NIGHT OF THE DEMONS remake
A trailer for the upcoming Night of the Demons remake debuted online a week ago and you can now view it on UHM below. Keep in mind that it's a rough trailer, so some of the effects may need more work. The film is currently rumored for a February 2010 release.
Angela Feld is throwing the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties at the infamous Broussard Mansion in New Orleans, where dark events transpired almost a century ago. But when the packed party gets busted by the police, Angela and her friends Maddie, Lily, Suzanne, Colin, Dex and Jason are the only ones left behind. Soon Colin and Angela make a grisly discovery in the basement and inexplicable events start to take place. With the mansion gates mysteriously locked, the seven find themselves trapped for the night...and soon they're fighting ancient demons for their very souls.

It's suppossed to be a theatrical release or at least thats what I was told. I met Tiffany Shepis this past October at Rock & Shock and she told me it was coming out in February
I really enjoy the original movie and hope that this remake does it justice. So far the trailer makes it look decent, but just cause the trailer looks good means that the movie will be.
This is going straight to video right? At least the Poster is awesome. Very 80's/ early 90's
I really wasn't too big of a fan of the original Night of the Demons, but I wanted to see the remake because I really loved the effects in the original. But if this is what I have to look forward to effects wise, I'd much rather watch the original again. Shannon Elizabeth is too. . . peppy, to play Angela. Too slutty. They seriously need to do something about her look. All I could see was a white face and horns sticking out of the side of her head. Doubt I'll even bother going to see this. I'll just wait until it comes on Cinemax or something.
Is this movie going straight to DVD? I was really excited to see this, but not so much now. I'm sure I'll still watch it though. I also think that everyone should give Shannon Elizabeth a break. If you all recall, the original Angel was ugly as hell, and was a horrible actress! But, that's one of the things that made the movie great was it's campy feel. From what you see in the trailer, I think she has done a pretty good job at capturing the feel of Angel....except for being ugly as hell!
Rough cut?!? I saw the world premiere of this in August at Frightfest in London. The director was there and said it was the final version of the film. I was very disapointed with it and this trailer makes it look better than it actually is. Angela's demon was probably the worst of the demons in it. Poor, poor cgi used. And i don't know if you guys can tell from the trailer but old Eddie Furlong has put on some serious weight!
I have been very optimistic from the outset but after watching that horrid trailer, my optimism was shot to hell.
Even IF this trailer is a rough cut, do you really believe this remake will improve with a new trailer? My answer is definitely no. The movie has been in post production for a year, its finished and doesn't look promising... A new trailer won't change the end result.
I still can't wait to see it! but I'm more curious than anything
Your suffering will be legendary, even in Hell!
I second the 2 previous comments- I hope it's not the official trailer and the original Angela was definitely much better.. plus there's something about the girl playing Angela that just doesn't quite embody the character... I will definitely watch it though and I hope that it exceeds expectations.
not sure what to make of that trailer....i HOPE it is a "rough" trailer. the demons don't look as scary as i remember them but the setting, hull house or whatever its called, looks real cool and like it will be utilized more than it was in the original.
nevermind, it is a new setting, some mansion in NOLA. that's kind of a headscratcher (?)
I really don't see the point in remaking this one, but the trailer looks alright. I like Angela's demon look in the original A LOT better though. They really should release this around Halloween, but distributors never know what they're doing.
