VCI Brings DARK NIGHT OF THE SCARECROW This Halloween!
It must have been over a year or two ago where news broke about the possibility of the DVD debut of this 1981 made-for-tv horror film! Now, it appears that the release will FINALLY happen. HorrorYearBook recently talked with the the writer of this film, where he confirmed a DVD debut around the Halloween season from VCI Entertainment. Unfortunately, no other information can be confirmed at this time, but rest assured I'll keep you posted as the information continues to unravel!

Premise:
Misguided townsfolk, blinded by bias and fear, mistakenly kill a mentally retarded man after someone accuses him of raping the young girl he had befriended. Shortly thereafter the entire town is beset by a supernatural terror. The story originally aired on television.

YES! been waitin' forever. this is a must-buy for any 80's horror fan.
Rob Zombie needs to remake this film. I loved this movie when I was a kid even though it scared ths shit out of me.
