I've seen a lot of zombie films in my years, but this has to be the one of the most boring pieces of crap I've ever seen. I never knew a zombie film could drag on for so long and be as boring as this. I found myself constantly fast-forwarding through the pointless scenes of people just starring at each other -- there are many scenes of just constant stares back and forth and very little dialogue; what a waste. The plot is pretty much about this expedition that goes to the African desert searching for gold that was supposedly buried years ago by Nazis -- whackass plot. We don't get to see any good zombie action until towards the end of the movie. For the rest of the film we're introduced to some of the characters and watch as they wander about the African desert.
Like I said before, there are lots of scenes where they just don't even talk - just stare and walk around. However, I found the beginning of the movie very funny -- we see two girls in very tight shorts that get lost in the desert, so they decide to get out of the jeep and walk around, only to be killed by zombies. It's funny because the girls just seemed so out of place, almost as if they walked into the wrong set of a movie. Anyway, the acting is unrealistic and the directing is very bad. There were lots of times where I just sat there wondering what the hell I was starring at, because the lighting in parts was just incredibly bad, and you could hardly see a thing. The only good thing about this movie would have to be the fact that it has zombies. It's too bad the make-up of the zombies looked really stupid and fake. This movie is pretty much boring and despite this being a zombie film, it has barely any gore.
One of the worst zombie films I've ever seen. It's so incredibly boring. Don't waste your time.
