Most of what I heard about this movie was fairly positive, so I was quite surprised to find myself really not enjoying it. The first 40 minutes or so is pretty interesting, but after that it pretty much goes downhill. The movie starts off with a group of pledges wanting to join a fraternity. They go through a lot of dumbass pranks and tricks in the middle of the whole hazing process. The first 40 minutes is pretty much just the whole hazing thing. It doesn't even seem like a horror film. After that we encounter an undead pledge who died many years ago in the same house. At that point the movie begins to really start getting silly.

The acting is decent and the directing is okay. The plot seemed fine for the first part of the film then it seemed like everything was rushed. Left a lot of holes in the story and just didn't really make much sense. The way the movie ends is really stupid. I was really hoping for something better to happen towards the end, because the ending is just laughable.

Nothing special gore or blood-wise and the thing that surprised me the most was the fact that there were only like one or two good-looking chicks throughout the whole film. What a waste. One girl supposedly played someone from high school, totally ignoring the fact that she looked to be in her 30s. Well anyway, the only reason I gave the movie a 4-rating was because it was somewhat enjoyable in the beginning with all the hazing and stuff done to the guys, but after that it just got stupid.

This movie could have been a lot better. Seemed rushed towards the end and the climax was just plain silly. Rent this to see the first 40 minutes and think of it as a comedy. Don't bother with the rest.
