Even though my living conditions are no where near his, people who live here don't get opportunities like that as often as people who live other places.

Searching and getting exactly what you want is a science that cannot be taught in one lesson, grasshopper. :D

And torrents have been around for a few years. They're not always the best way to 'borrow' movies and such though because your IP is exposed and the RIAA and MPAA have scanner bots that collect them and like to e-mail your ISP which in turn e-mail you with nasty threats.

I feel my methods for obtaining entertainment are optimal. I have an EasyNews subscription to where I can download new releases without worrying about the internet police being up my ass with legal threats. For older, obscure shit that the MPAA could give a fuck about there's always Tracker 3.

Skinwalkers 3/10

Incredibly bad movie.

*SPOILERS*

All of the action is gun play, and there is next to no gore.
The werewolves look very much like Michael from Underwolrld, and aren't very cool.
Skinwalkers initially takes 'An American Werewolf in London' flavor. That being that whoever is a werewolf is unably to control themselves thus needing to be chained up, or run amoke. Later in the movie it takes on 'The Howling' as a flavor. Where the 'good' werewolves have control of themselves and fight against the bad werewolves :die:
This wasn't the case through the film whatsoever until the end.

The conclusion and this alleged end to werewolves is anything but. It ends up being a vaccine cure that has to be taken voluntarily, otherwise all the skinwalkers are unaffected. So if you don't want the cure your still a skinwalker. Basically it changes nothing as the good ones weren't attacking people in the first place. The bad ones that don't want the cure can simply skip the injection.
In which case your left right off where it started, needing silver bullets to kill the bad skinwalkers and all of the good harmless ones will get cured.

I thought it had a lot of potential until about halfway through, they could've had a really great ending with such a twisted character, but it seems like they just couldn't think of a great conclusion so they just killed everyone off. Halloween by Rob Zombie = STUNK!

This movie tried to tell the story behind Michael Meyers' childhood and the reason for his killing sprees. It REALLY lacked substance. The actors were not believable at all. I think the actors stuck to a script so much that when improvising was needed, it was neglected.. which left the dialogue lacking any sense of sincerity. I've noticed that with all of Rob Zombies films... they just aren't good enough, no matter how much gore is shown. Truly a D- in my book.

Hellraiser 1 - 8, I liked them all but the 2nd was my fave. This is probably the only horror franchise where i've actually liked all the movies.

I think the first two kinda preserved a scarier image of Hellraiser as this kind of omniscient bad guy who could get you wherever you were at any time if he needed too, and he had this really cool, calm, collect manner to torturing people. After Hellraiser 3 he was all pissed off at something; so where as in the first two he was like, "you can't run, so don't try," and he was all confident and cool -
in the third one he was like, "Fucking AAAHHHH, I'm Pinhead!" and then he threw CDs at people - which I found to be in poor taste :dsp:
I guess the sequels were good on their own and they promoted the franchise, but I think they overall did some damage to Pinhead's image.

I gotta watch these hellraiser movies. I've only seen like the 1st one and another one... for some reason I didn't really like them, but I'm sure I will now since I'm older... but anyways.

Both of these aren't really horror but gonna put them in here anyways.

Club Dread - 8/10 I just love the characters in them.

Parents - 8/10 I liked how it showed it all in the Child's POV.

Make sure you get the first one its the best.

Just watched Fido not what I thought it was going to be like but it was still different and interesting.Just a story about a boy and his zombie.7/10

Finished Fido and I really loved it, low on gore but high in entertainment. My favourite lines are:

-"is that blood on your Zombie?"
-"Uh yeah it was a nose bleed"
-"That's not a fresh Zombie, only fresh zombies bleed"

-"How did it get on your zombie?"
-"Uh, I wiped it there".
