The last horror movie I saw was Sleepaway Camp. I give a 6/10. The movie was kinda weird and a little silly. The acting was bad and the worst part was the face the killer made at the end of the movie. What a surprise and f*cked up ending that was.

I've always loved the original B&W Night of the Living Dead. One of the horror movies I saw late one night and got me into the genre. Never get tired of putting it on in the background.

Dawn is way better than Day though, by far.

That irritated me the most about this movie. That, and the violent 180º swing of film mood half way in. I would say it was ok at best, but nothing more.

All the acting is great and the shots and story progression are well executed, but in the end you really can't say it was anything more than an exercise in discomfort, and though it did that really well, when you're looking for some substance in the movie as a whole, it doesn't really deliver. But if you're looking for something that's just gonna make you uneasy for two hours, this works.

Funny Games..Its awful. Probably the worst movie ive ever seen, and if its not the worst then its pretty damn close to it.

ive seen plenty but this was lame. Sure, it could be alright if you like watching the same thing for 20 minutes. There had to be a good 20 minutes where Noami Watts was jumping around her living..and thats all you saw. I dunno, i guess i expect a little more than what it gave me

I dunno, Slayer, even from the perspective of someone who loved it and understood it, you've gotta admit, it's definitely not for the majority of horror fans.

I personally didn't like it very much, even after rewinding and scrutinizing that last bit of dialogue between the brothers/partners/bffls/whatever; but I can see some of it's logic and after reading a lot of discussion over it on the boards I've got a good deal of respect for it - but nonetheless, definitely a movie that can be easily hated.

I'm on your side. I'm not a huge fan of the movie but it is easily a 100x better than Manos The Hands of fate.

The Ruins - There was some fantastic gore and the premise was pretty unique. I have the book but haven't read it yet. Pretty much above average. 7/10.

This was very much a better all around effort from Romero compared to LOTD. Only problem I had with the film was some of the acting. Some of it kinda ruined some scenes where those scenes needed to be strong but overall a much better effort out of Romero.
