Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers
...I grew up with the original movie so I had to check this one out. It was cheesy for sure and the acting was pretty bad but I still really enjoyed it anyway. It was just brainless slasher fun.
I thought Sleepaway Camp II is the best by far.

...:dsp: Damn, this movie was just plain horrible. It tried way too hard to be an Evil Dead homage and it tried too hard to be "stupid-funny" and instead ended up being just plain stupid. There was waaaay too much cheese for it's own good. What a waste of time this was.

Squirm
A 1970's PG rated horror flick with worms and pretty decent effects. These worms are transformed into bloodsuckers after an electrical charge was made to bring all the worms to the surface from one pile of mud, and ended up turning the worms into 9 inch bloodsuckers.
It's a pretty sick film but back then PG-13 ratings didn't necessarily exist..
You get to enjoy alot of non-worm dialouge that puts you into the characters bodies (sadly) and you learn that the worms transform and multiply. They soon become termites and then get bigger and bigger. Worms are gross, none the less.

High Tension (Haute Tension) UNCUT
Sick as hell movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat squirming until the climaxing ending. Plenty of sick, creative, in-your-face death scenes and some lesbian masturbation that keeps you smiling. Reminds me alot of Joy-Ride and Identity, which I both liked. Ending, however, sucks though...unsuspecting and original, however..it still lacks me the joy of watching it a 2nd time.

The Carpenter - Wings Hauser plays the ghost of a mass murderer with a knack for slaughter via power tools. Rather dull film saved only by a few decent kills and Hauser's unintentionally hilarious performance as the killer.
Hunter's Blood - Standard, run of the mill 'Deliverance' rip-off with no redeeming qualities other than one amusing special effect.

What's the news on The Survivor? I hear it's back in production yet again.

Whoops.......Tales from the Crypt(1972) it's low budget, but very good IMO . If you like the anthologies such as Creep Show I highly recommend getting a copy of it somehow (you can probably still find it on VHS). I don't think that they have it released on DVD as of yet, but from my understanding Fox is going to release it in the next 2-3 months.Whatever you do don't make a judgement based on the TV series.....the movie is far better and not so cheesy.

Anyway, I watched it last night and it was okay. For it's time I think that it was a very brave and daring move for the director and the actors. It just seemed kinda silly. 7/10 for me.

Ghost Game 3/10 - It had a good basic plot, but it was let down by the acting and bad camera work. It was very boring, but i watched to the end to see if it got better. IT DIDN'T!
Braindead 1.5/10 - It had a remote story at the beginning, but it got stupid and relied to much on gore to carry it. I watched it to the end, but was tempted to switch channels.
Bad Taste 1.5/10 - It was crap from the beginning to the end, it had nothing remotely good to offer and was a complete waste of money.
May 4/10 - A very average movie. It wasn't scary and had a plot.

Those two movies are personally some of my favorite cheese horror movies. I proudly own both movies.
I watched suicide club for the first time the other night. Talk about a crazy story. I was tired when watching it, so I might have missed something. The train scene at the begginning of the movie was awesome. Definately a different movie, but interesting as well. I'd give it a 6.5/10.
It's a movie that leaves you saying "WTF" at the end.

Nightmare City- Umberto Lenzi flick, mislabeled as a zombie film... pretty cool minus the silly ending ***out of *****
Slugs- Was great to see this again. The dialogue is completely ridiculous and the death scenes are laughable. This is a good thing though. ****out of *****
