It took several tries, but I finally made it to the end of the American "One Missed Call."

Knocking it down to PG-13 and cutting the kills in half meant the movie made almost no sense. I kept expecting the supporting cast to call the female lead "mom," due to what appears to be a tremendous age difference. And finally: Just because you gave your horror movie a PG-13 rating does not mean you need to end it with some chick in a white dress floating around ethereally like she's Tori Goddamned Amos posing for another album cover. The Haunting, What Lies Beneath, probably five other godawful movies that I forgot, and now this. Hollywood needs to knock that garbage off. It was boring when it was just album covers.In brief, the original was far better.

You're actually pretty close. I do give it a 7.0 which puts this at my second favorite Argento film.....yes Deep Red is still my favorite and that's an 8.....very rare for me to give anything much higher than that. To me rating anything over an 8 it's really gotta rock my socks, and off the top of my head there is no such creature.

Afterthought: This is probably the best acting I've actually seen from Asia Argento in my opinion of course
