SPOILERS FOR HILLS HAVE EYES REMAKE!!!!!
Agreed, excellent film. The only part that actually pissed me off was toward the end when the boy was running from Jupiter and he's trying to fire the gun behind him as he's running forward. He could have easily stopped, turned around and emptied the clip into Jupiter. But then again we wouldn't have gotten the scene where the camper is blown up.

I also got mad when the dog attacked the mutant with the ax and the guy ran into the bathroom to hide. I found myself yelling "you pussy". The mutant was incapacitated by the dog, he could have taken him out right there and then.

I guess you could call The Crow horror, but its definitely more of an action... anywho, a decent flik, but not as good as I had heard it would be. A little too fast paced imo with some bad acting from Brandon Lee (who somehow managed to complete filming after being shot & killed?)

would just like to say that Brandon Lee was amazing as Eric Draven/The Crow and the film showed what a huge talent he was. the film was great and is one of the best comic book movies ever made. Brandon's death made the film all the more powerful and emotional in the same way River Phoenix's death gives Stand By Me an extra level of poignancy. he will always be remembered for that role and that performance and rightly so!

Some ppl loved it and other hated it, as is the case with most movies. I liked it, BUT I did watch it for the first time when it was still said to be real. Part 2 is a bit of a mind trip as I still dont know what to make out of all of it.
Just watched Friday the 13th part 8 Jason Takes Manhatton, which isnt the best but isnt the worst of the Friday the 13th and can still hold my interest.
Just ordered the first 3 Phantasm movies from Amazon, I cant really remember seeing the first 2 but I remember not understanding everything that went on in the last 2 (its been a long time sense ive seen any of them).
I know have the unrated Jason Goes to Hell in, and its not really got much of my attention as ive seen it so many times and it really doesnt pick up till the last 20-30 min or so.

'There's Nothing Out There'
A shitty, unfunny horror comedy about five kids being stalked by some cheesy-ass alien out in the woods. Pretty much the movie Craven decided to rip-off when he made 'Scream' since this one has an annoying ass character similiar to Jamie Kennedy's who does nothing but talk about horror film cliches and tries to convince everyone else they're in a horror movie.
So anyone who thinks 'Scream' was original in anyway obviously hasn't seen this one.

it's worth a rent or a blind buy definitely, i liked it because it's a different kind of horror/thriller than what you normally see. loved the fact that you follow the killer as he returns home to kill and stalk the people who messed with his brother, it's more powerful because of it and it's something you'd never get in a mainstream hollywood horror film.

Just saw that movie the other night too and thought it was pretty good.
The ending DID suck even though it was one of the few parts of the movies that had the gore I had been waiting to see in the movie lol. Overall I thought it was a good movie that did justice to how wierd the damn game was. (one of the few game-to-movie transitions willing to follow a game almost 100% in a movie). Kinda aggrivated me how they tried to explain the story of Silent Hill tho since the scariest part of the games was the fact that it was so wierd and you didn't know what the hell was goin on imo at least. 8-10
