Feast - 8/10 - Didn't know what to expect from this but i thought it absolutely rocked. Really well made in an 80s horror kinda way, and i loved the way it threw out the rule book and messed with the old cliches. Plus the creatures actually looked pretty good.

August Underground: Mordum 3/10 I was motion sick by the time it was done. I should have never watched it on a 65" TV. The original is much much better, this one revolves around sex too much, and all the women they have in it? MAN.... could they not get any better looking girls to show naked on screen??
A bit disappointed at this effort by Vogel and the rest of Toe Tag, but I still admire them for their balls ( not literally ).

Can't wait to see the reamake of this actionless, goreless, anticlimatic shitfest. This is infinatly weaker than every other decent Giallo (which it truely attempts to be) and Slasher.

It destroyed the whole mystery behind Billy, it showed him all the fucking time for example. And the gore I heard people talking about? Wtf? Did I watch a version cut for 5 year olds?

A Formula for A Murder 6/10

A little known Giallo staring David Warbeck (Zombie). It wasn't the best or even close to great, but it was decent. The lead actress was annoying throughout but some of the murder scenes made up for it. Sadly they were few and far between. Worth a check if you like Giallo's or Italian flicks.

I actually saw three in one day: Memento Mori, The Red Shoes and Bio-Zombie. I would give the same ratings as Fright did for these movies. The only problem I had was with Bio-Zombie. Indeed it was a hilarious movie. If a foreign film has an optional english audio track, I prefer to watch the movies with the original language with english subtitles. The actors/actresses in Bio-Zombie talked so fucking fast that most of the subtitles were only on the screen for less than a second. So if you watch Bio-Zombie, I'd suggest putting the english audio track on because the subtitles go extremely fast!

Just watched "Haute Tension" again, and it actually made less sense than it did the first time. I think I was hoping to have discovered something I'd missed earlier that would help tie it all together...boy was I wrong.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but "he" (the killer) was really a "she".
It wasn't a "he" copping the "head-job" in the truck at the start, it was a "she"...and "she" somehow managed to be in the truck watching her mates mum hang out the washing AND in a car with her best friend on their way to the exact same spot. Now, while "he" was driving the truck up to the house that night, "she" was in bed masturbating over her best friend.
"She" also managed to be looking out the bedroom window at the same time "he" was shooting the boy in the cornfield.

That's some pretty amazing "bi-locating" ability from a paranoid schizophrenic/multiple personality prone lesbian with a penchant for power tools.

Leatherface Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 - I actually didn't mind this one, that chainsaw he had was nice. it was like pimp my chainsaw. 7/10

Exorcism of Emily Rose - I really like this movie, freaks me out. 9/10

lol steelba... okay I watched "The Legend Of Bloody Jack" and I knew I had to get pretty high to watch this. which I'm glad I did cuz the whole movie just cracked me up. the acting was horrible but so freaking funny. They spend a lot of the time on the make-up which I guess was worth it. I do like the part when the guy is running (which he thought he was running away from the guy) AND BAM outta no where the axe comes flyin' and cuts off his head!... and the ending was OUTTA NO WHERE. which was funny. overall it actually wasn't that bad. 6/10

I pretty much agree with that. Tenebre, Opera, and Inferno (the sequel to Suspria) are a must see if you enjoyed Suspiria on any level. Albiet Tenebre is my fav...
