A few tidbits of wrestling info:

- We're hearing that the name of Triple H and Stephanie's new baby girl is Murphy Claire. She was born at eight pounds and twelve ounces.

-According to a report at PWInsider.com, at last night's Raw tapings in Washington, DC, Mike Adamle pretty much gave it away to the fans in live attendance that he was the new General Manager. As soon as Shane McMahon's music hit, Mike left the announcers booth and grabbed a ring mic but was told to go back to the announcing booth. Once Shane McMahon teased the new GM was backstage, Adamle quickly jumped into the ring.

Wont be long before Gellar is a diva champ. I kinda find it hard to believe Freddie will be able to resist being on tv either.

Lets see how it plays out. Hopefully they dont take a page from WCW with the Arquettes. Granted that was done to promote Ready to Rumble.

Preview:Saturday Night Smash
August 2, 2008

With just weeks before the Biggest Blockbuster of the Summer, WWE will rock network television with the return of a broadcast with a 20-year legacy: Saturday Night's Main Event. This Saturday on NBC, Superstars from Raw, SmackDown and ECW collide in the squared circle with the entire nation watching – and their SummerSlam opponents looking on very closely as well.

Representing Monday nights, John Cena and Batista team with Cryme Tyme to collide with the formidable tandem of JBL, Kane & World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase. Cena and The Animal are on the brink of their first-time singles encounter at SummerSlam while the Longhorn Loudmouth and the Big Red Machine seem intent on stalking World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk.

And of course, Raw's Robbin' Hoods would like nothing more than to earn yet another victory over the World Tag Team titleholders, en route to a possible future championship match. Which eight-man squad will seize the day?

Also scheduled for battle is a hunted soul by the name of Edge, who meets Jeff Hardy one-on-one. With The Deadman's imminent return casting a broad shadow over the Rated-R Superstar, can he exact the ultimate opportunity on NBC against SmackDown's high-flyer?

Plus, see Jenny McCarthy make a live appearance as WWE and Generation Rescue team to fight autism. Show your support and donate now!

Catch this action and much more this Saturday at 9/8 CT, only on NBC.

Nice to see this special still airing now and then. At one point in the 80's/early 90's this special would get 15 mil + viewers...last year it got around 2 mil viewers.

World Wrestling Entertainment has released yet another promotional poster for this year’s WWE Unfogiven pay-per-view. This time the poster does not feature Shawn Michaels, it now features Batista.

It looks like WWE are changing posters around like they have done for past events. The new poster features Batista in a yard at night in the rain doing Randy Orton's ring pose.

WWE Unforgiven takes place on September 7, 2008 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

ECW star Elijah Burke is currently hospitalized after being sideswiped by a car while running. In a blog written on his official website, theelijahexperience, Burke wrote that he decided to go for a night run and as he was finishing, tripped when he hit an uneven patch of sidewalk. He tripped into the road and was hit by a car he was later told was going 80 mph in a 40 mph zone.

Burke promised to go into further detail when he was able to, noting he was using his left hand to type the blog via his cell phone.

Dont think we've covered this one before but it'd be cool to see what everyones favorite Royal Rumble was?

For me heres my top 3.

1. Royal Rumble 1992 - great mix of many legends. Unpredictable ending.
2. Royal Rumble 2001 - great mix of attitude era greats, Kane with a monster rumble but he usually has monster rumbles, Austins 3rd rumble win.
3. Royal Rumble 1999 - alot of people hate on this one but I thought the booking was outstanding and the ending was crazy.

One ring, five men, 20 minutes. It’s all sure to add up to one of the most unpredictable matches in WWE history.

For WWE Champion Triple H, United States Champion Shelton Benjamin, Jeff Hardy, Montel Vontavious Porter and The Brian Kendrick, every second will count at Unforgiven. The five Superstars will make history by participating in the first-ever WWE Championship Scramble Match, where for 20 minutes, it’s anyone’s game.

Raw General Manager Mike Adamle announced what he dubbed a “Championship Scramble” Match for Unforgiven. In what promises to be a thrilling World Heavyweight Title bout, reigning champion CM Punk and four former World Champions – Kane, JBL, Batista and John Cena – will battle in the ring at the same time for 20 minutes.

------------------------------------------

Interesting concept for a match imo It's also interesting that Brian Kendrick is in Smackdowns match...HHH is obviously going to win his match. CM Punk on the other hand is prob going to lose his title because he has more competition.

There has been a lot of buzz about Foley in the TNA locker room among the talents, but management has been quiet about it and probably out of the loop themselves, but everyone has been hopeful Dixie Carter was finalizing the deal.

- SmackDown Superstar Ken Kennedy is scheduled for shoulder surgery this Friday. Kennedy injured his shoulder during a house show match with WWE United States Champion Shelton Benjamin earlier this month, and has been working lightly ever since.

Kennedy was diagnosed with a torn labrum and damage to his rotator cuff by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Alabama. Is the man who led WCW to big ratings for several years readying a new promotion?

There have apparently been discussions between Eric Bischoff and CMT about creating some type of new wrestling promotion or wrestling-related program to tie in with the upcoming Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling series that will also air on the network. Bischoff said not too long ago that working on the new Hogan series (Bischoff is an executive producer of that show) had "whetted his appetite" to be involved with wrestling again. Whether anything comes from these discussions between Bischoff and CMT remains to be seen.

OMG i will forever :bow:to ease E if he could shake the wrestling world up.

Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com also seems to speculate that Goldberg might somehow be involved, given his recent statement that he is now training for a return to wrestling.

Monday Night Football had a 12.4 over the WWEs 2.7 because of the Dallas/Philly game being the most watched game.

- During an interview with Monday Night Mayhem, Brooke Hogan said that she thinks her father, Hulk Hogan, is getting ready to return to WWE. She said he is getting himself back in shape and that is what he usually does before making a return. She also said that she may end up going to WWE as well if her music career and reality show go bust.

Hulk Hogan bores me to no end atleast let Eric Bischoff bring back a new wrestling promotion:bored:

Maybe they will bring back Austin for his last match against him. That's what all the fans wanted to see anyways. Would be awesome to see Austin and Rock return for a little bit and shake things up. But, it'll never happen.

HHH is just so cool to look at. Remember The Brood...I loved them and how they appeared....love that ring of fire. Also my Dad saw Junk Yard Dog and got me a signed tee shirt...I like him too.

Raw was pretty good tonight. The Great Charl-ee thing was hilarious. They kept throwin their arms up hollerin at each other

"AHHHHH"

Haha. I dk if anyone noticed, but when Khali did it, all the fans did it behind him in unison, they erupted in a "AHHHHHH". Was classic.

Also, DX for the win. That's what I was hoping for when HBK said it in the interview. Was pretty stupid to reunite them and not even have em win the match though.... Probably just a one time thing. I'm hoping not though. But it's the kind of stuff WWE needs right now. King said "what if Shawn wins the World Title this Sunday, and HHH retains, DX would rule the wrestling world!!!!". That would be awesome, but unfortunately, since he said that, it probably won't happen.

Also, the whole Rey thing... I dont understand why they make it out to be a big secret. Anyone who watches WWE now obviously used to watch WCW and has already seen Rey without his mask.... It isn't going to be a big surprise.

BTW, anyone see Flair wants to do one more match. Either vs Masahiro Chono or Keiju Muto in Japan. But hes afraid Shawn will be pissed. Big deal, he has history with those two, not with Shawn. Plus picturing Flair take the shining wizard would be sick.

I don't know who if you guys heard, but Christian Cage's contract is ending soon with TNA and he might head back to WWE. I say he should as TNA he's done what he's done in TNA and now WWE have new stars and challenges for him. I just hope they keep his old theme he used when he left, that song "Just close your eyes".

Darkgod

He is probally gonna go back, but its dumb if he does. There are too many main eventers as is, so he will just end up being a midcard heel.

I like what their doing with Jeff lately.

Playing off the tweener, crazy lately. Hopefully it goes somewhere much like how Jericho has reinvented his heel character on RAW.
