I am not a big time gamer i pretty much just play modern warfare and call of duty black ops zombies online , but i have re discovered borderlands i had played a while back and one day out of boredom started playing again. this time all they way to play through 3 , its play through 2 the second time, and got a couple of new maps for it . I love this game it has good music graphics and is all around fun. I cant wait for the second one to come out .

Yea Read alot of the same thing. 2% into the game and haven't met a creature from the netherworld as of yet. Alot of that entry level crap is pretty much the disguised tutorial. It seems ok so far. Been waiting awhile for a new Silent Hill though. Homecoming was a bit of a dissapointment - muddled and burdened with a skewed difficulty setting.

Haven't had to many problems with the AI but yeah sometimes they will get in the way and do die more times then you would like them to in tougher situations. On the flip side of the coin they can be a big help as there have been times where I am searching for first aid and what not while they do all the fighting.

I took back Silent Hill Downpour today. Wasn't happy with the mechanics. Couple hours into the game before i even fought anything.
I might give it a second run sometimes later if i'm needing something to play, but for now I returned it and was lucky enough to get full credit
even though I had it for 5 days and bought it new. I ended up getting the Silent Hill HD collection straight up and even pulled in $20 store credit to top it off.

Yea I agree. They seem to be regressing in the franchise. Homecoming was better with the mechanics, and added the dodge and roll maneuvers, but they left it out of Downpour. The HD collection has SH2 and SH3 included. I stopped playing 3 about a quarter of the way into it way back when. now I'll get to play 2 and 3 with HD graphics. Should be a better playing experience.

Prototype 2. Killing is more fun as the powers are better but it's major downfall is this hunting system you have to use in missions to find and consume people. It is difficult to use and really makes the game drag.

I got Prototype 2 last friday and i also preordered Max Payne 3 so i got some game's to keep me going for awhile now until the next few bigger game's are out.

I just started Vegas and finally skilled high enough to just sit on hilltops and take out Cazadores.

I've beaten it already, so this 2nd run through involves a lot of mods and cheats, so I'm pretty much just BSing and dominating everyone and everything in my path :gunner:

I think i'm maybe level 12. I'm playing Ultimate edition that has every expansion pack on it. I didn't realize that the expansions weren't interspersed throughout the game so I just loaded them up yesterday from the other disc.

Wish I would have known before because there's some choice weapons available that i have access to at this point, and may have had earlier on.

Yeah, it's kinda shitty for those of us that beat the game, only to realize in order to play the expansion you had to start over or load up an earlier save. :dislike:
