This is the prequel/sequel to Suicide Club that came out back in 2001. At the time it left many unanswered questions and I had no idea that the director planned it to be a trilogy until recently. I just saw this incredibly long film (2 1/2-hours) earlier and found it to be incredibly dull, and somehow very annoying.
The movie does reveal some details behind this suicide club that existed in the first film, but we really don't get much as far as answers go. Most of it is left for us to figure out (much like the first). I only found it annoying because of the way the director filmed it -- it essentially plays out like you're watching a movie, but also reading a novel at the same time, because the characters have this inner narration that details every little thing. Like, they'll cough then their narration will be "I coughed" or if there are papers scattered on the floor, it'll be "I looked at all the papers on the floor".
Pretty disappointed by the flick to say the least. I should have a detailed review up shortly.
