Tool was amazing. System of a Down w/The Mars Volta & Hella was another great show. Deftones is probably the one I had the most fun at, I was in the pit and the crowd was really cool. Tool, from the concerts I've been to, still puts on the best show.

I'm seeing Morrissey in June, and possibly Interpol w/Kings of Leon... and if things go well, Deftones again.

Michael Jackson was probably the best gig I went to.
InMe and 3 Doors Down put on a hell of a show too.

I can't wait til September because i'm off to see Incubus, the gig was supposed to be in March but got cancelled due to the fact the guitarist decided he wanted to break his hand.

So many good memories from shows. Big D And The Kids Table is ALWAYS good. Against Me! always play with so much energy. The Advantage played every song flawlessly (Great NES cover band).

However, the best band I saw was probably the first time I saw Flogging Molly at my first Warped Tour. It started pouring rain (somewhat to the point that it hurt), well everyone there was out attempting to do some Irish jigs in the mud. Needless to say, we were God aweful at it! After their set electricity started going out and they had to cancel the remainder of it.

I went to a good concert last night. Diecast and Drowning Pool at a nightclub. I made my 14 yrs old daughter happy as hell, because they were signing autographs after the show. So I bought her a tour shirt and they all signed it. Had I known both groups were going to sign I would have brought my diecast c.d. covers.

I used to go to a lot of concerts when I was younger.

In 88 when I was 16 I got to see Ratt,I really liked them back in the day......please keep the laughter to a minimum. So that was my favorite.

I got free tickets to a Garth Brooks concert once, and couldnt beleive how much energy that short chubby man had!He was giving away a lot of stuff like guitars,it was a great time.

I am disapointed I never got to see G&R live.

Some other really good ones~
AC DC
Cooper
Ozzy
Kiss-Even tho I'm not really a fan of them, they still put on a good show.

If I could go back in time and see any group live it would def. be the Doors.

Hmm, it's kind of hard to narrow down some of my favorites since I've been to so many. I think around 40+. But I will name some:

Rammstein-great band live. Amazing to see what they do live.

Rob Zombie-puts on a great show.

Gigantour '05 and '06-Dave Mustaine knows how to put a quality festival together. Plus, it's Megadeth.

Dream Theater-seen them five times and gets better each time.

Unholy Alliance tour-great show all together. Though I can't stand Mastodon. But Slayer rules. Nuff said.

Lamb of God-again nuff said.

Dimmu Borgir, Unearth, Devildriver and Katakylsm-one of my most recent ones. Freakin' awsome. I know some people think Dimmu sucks but the put on a great show. If you like their music.

Staind

What an awesome show, it was an all day event. Nickleback can put off a good show, they gave a tribute to dime bag, they used one of the riffs he wrote and they had a video to go along with it, its on their new album. They threw out one of their picks and I caught it, its funny the pick had NB on it. I didnt know bands put their initials on their picks.

Staind were flawless in their act, absolute brilliance, if you ever get a chance to see these guys live, go for it. Love their music.

they must do that same dime tribute at all their concerts. saw them last september and they did the whole dime tribute then too.
my fave concerts (that i can remember) were/are

danzig; sucidal tendencies; metallica way back in 94, my first "real concert" got tix for graduation
ozzfest 2000 got to see pantera
powerman 5000, they played at a bowling alley and it was the LOUDEST show i have ever been to, i almost got sick from the bass just fucking booming
shinedown put on a kick ass show, unfortunatly it was an all seated event and i could not "rock out" proper

and of course i must give props to my friends who are in their bands, scab chapel and threatenol (2 are in both bands) they always bring the crowd when they play at the aforementioned bowling alley

Modest Mouse at Red Rocks must have been amazing! I saw them at Warehouse Live in Houston about year and half ago was and they f'n rocked! Saw Depeche Mode in '05 at the Compact Center and it was the best concert I have ever experienced, had great seats 20th row center, and have great pictures to prove it. In Nov. Im taking my wife to see Mute math, their CD is pretty sweet, anyone seen them in concert? Any thoughts? If I sound fucked up its cause Ima little drunk right now. Just saw The Birthday Massacre in Denver. Beyond brilliant, mind blowing performance.I bought USB drive for my wife a few weeks ago, through amazon.com, and decided to treat myself to a cd. I hit the "goth" section, went looking for a band I had never heard of who didn't sound too generic, and wound up ordering the new Birthday Massacre about two days before it was released.

It sounded to me like they broke ranks with "generic" enough to get pretty cool, but got stuck with one overall sound. Looking at some live stuff on Youtube now, though. Looks like it may work a lot better live.

I don't know if I ever went though my favorite shows. A couple of Trash Brats concerts stick out, but one was for very wrong reasons.

Rush, the Supersuckers, and Collective Soul earned a lot of favor by being able to entertain very well without any stupid gimmicks. Reel Big Fish was the best of the no-gimmicks no-bullshit shows. Bauhaus was almost the worst, but they started having fun about halfway through. Then everyone else started having fun too.

Thrill Kill Kult in '98 was a blast. Saw them three times, but that was the absolute best.

Weird Al almost certainly was the best gimmicky concert. Light years beyond Marilyn Manson in goofy theatrics and amount of effort put into entertaining. Best drum solo I've ever heard, too.

Oh yeah. Saw Bowser twice. The second time was better - he gave me an autograph and told me to cut my hair.

Probably Shinedown about a month ago. Their cover of Skynyrd's Simple Man was fantastic.

Just found out that Dream Theater are bringing the full set the UK, they've never brought everything before, they use to just play for 3 and a half hours then leave. But this time they're bringing the visuals and of course themselves and Symphony X. It's gonna be incredible. I'm just hoping Joe Satriani turns up like he has done in the past.

I know most on here will disagree with me, but I would say the best concerts I have been too have been Slipknot (2005), HELLYEAH (2007), & Lamb of God (2005 & 2007) those were all bad ass shows.

Nobody could disagree with u. Those are just your favorites. But yea I've seen Slipknot 3 times and been GREAT! I loved when the drummer went upside down on this machine while still playin' the drums. SHIT WAS INSANE!

I've seen Slipknot about 3 times I think. Once with Fear Factory and Chimaira and 40 Below Summer that was amazing and the other time with Lamb of God and Shadows Fall and I bent my two front teeth inwards my mouth during a circle pit during Lamb of Gods "11th Hour" shit was insane, but the best time I've seen Slipknot was when they played with As I Lay Dying and Unearth. That show was fucking sweeet. but the next concert I'm going to is As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, Haste The Day and Through The Eyes Of The Dead. Shows going to go off for sure! and then the next day I'm going to Circa Survive haha WAY different type of shows thats for sure! Should be sweet though.

Even though i'm not much of a Slipknot fan, i've heard they put on one hell of a show. I've seen a live recording of Spit It Out, and Corey makes everyone get on their knees mid song and when it kicks in to being heavy again every fucker goes crazy.

Not a big concert go-er. Been to only one. That was HIM, Eighteen Visions, and Kill Hannah. KH was the only good part about it.

Yeah, they are actually pretty good. I don't listen to them a lot anymore, but I have to say, that was definetely a good concert for my first, however, the two I saw after that were better (2nd was Mudvayne, KoRn and some other band, and even better than that was Dir en grey and two other bands I didn't watch.)
